I completed the whole story before badges were added, but now I'm having to replay it again to earn the badge? I certainly love the series and I think it's great, but I don't see why I need to replay it when Greg (if I remember correctly) said that badges would be "retroactively awarded" (and I don't recall clearing my browser stuff). I guess I shouldn't complain too much though; I did like the series.
We're sorry; if you played it before June the 30th, there may be an issue because of which you'd have to replay the game to gain the badge.
If you played it after and you didn't get the badge, then you'd have to ask to kong why you didn't get it.
We're sorry we can't help you more than this, but we have no control over badges and other stuff, it's all on kong :)
This game is so generic in every way possible. The storyline is as generic as you could possibly get, the lines are generic... As far as a bullet hell goes it's subpar because it's easy to get weapons that take enemies out the second they enter the screen, and then pick up the coin they drop no matter where you are on the map. I'd say it's 2* at most, I can't really say there was much trying going on here to create anything unique.
I don't really understand why people say that searching sucks. I searched almost every day (missed three) and I never lost a single survivor. From about day 15 and beyond I had a 60% chance to remain undetected, and an 85% chance to survive if I was, with a 4-person search crew. Just pile up your search crew with heavy melee and ranged skilled people. By the end of the game, my ranged crew had 100% efficiency, my melee had 64%, and my search crew was as stated above. I didn't see the difficulty that everyone was talking about and how trash the searching was - maybe I was just lucky, but I'm thinking for 25 days in a row there had to be something more than luck.
Well, I liked the game, but if you were to make a sequel, I do have a suggestion... Some of the puzzles seemed a bit obscure while others I figured out immediately. For example, the second time you use light flashes for the puzzle, I didn't understand the dots on the note and what they meant, or that I even needed to do anything with the phone at all besides listen for a message, and it was quite obscure. There are others like it, and I did need to refer to a walkthrough twice during the game to figure out two specific pieces that I couldn't.
I must say, the foreshadowing of the final boss is incredibly well-done. I had been expecting it based on what you could see (I won't spoil anything), but it was really well done, to the point where you THINK you know but you can't be sure until you get to the 100th floor. The 99th floor also gives it away, I think, if you hold the same theory I did.
@CameronW109 That's not a reason why a 58 would have more points than a level 60. You need about 3,000-3,250 points to go from 58-60 (only reason I know that is because I'm currently working on 60 and saw how many points I needed), and so a level 58 couldn't and shouldn't have more points, because he would thus be a higher level. However, the "points" in the high scores list are based on BADGE points. So, someone like Jayisgames with 400,000+ points and only something like 2 badges or whatever it is can have no badge points but many actual points.
@Icecoldpanda Have no more than 2 Ion cannons at the end. They are only useful to take on the little drones that swarm your buildings. At the end I had 6 Bunkers in the middle row, starting 1 from the edge on each side and then every 2 spots there was a bunker (it was missile-bunker-missile-bunker all the way to the end). I had two Ion Cannons in the middle column, middle and top rows. I had four Missile Defense systems set up just like the bunkers were, but on the top row (missile-defense-etc). Everything else was missiles. I had 3500m population at the end (and that was only due to my selling ion cannons before I realized missiles can't take the little drones out, which cost me about 1500m population), and $7600b. The final ship destroyed three buildings before it was destroyed. I never built a single repair bay and had 6 upgraded economic facilities at my max.
@Shadowlight001 Go to Menu, hit Save, then click "Save and exit to lobby". It will take you out of your position and bring you back to the previous lobby.
@CrackerBob100 That gem is really difficult to get to with only one gem's worth of focus radius. It took me about 5 minutes to get to it. The second time around, I got the second gem then doubled back and used those two to easily get it and get the bonus gem.
By the way, at around 30,000-35,000 points, there's a good 5,000-7,500 point area (assuming you actually try to collect stuff) of nothing but EMP mines. There's a lot fewer mines than there would be obstacles normally, so this is a great place to catch a break and also a great spot to get that last corner of 30,000 without worrying about hitting obstacles. About 5,000-10,000 points after that, there's a section with NOTHING but greens and purples, which happens right after you get "reduced visibility". I got hit around 15,000 and still got the badge because I wasn't done with that section until around 50,000, which was well after I needed the 30,000. It's a safe zone.
Two years ago, when I got the Impossible, I really thought that Insane would be harder than Original. When I did Original and saw how hard it was, I almost gave up then and there because Insane surely should be harder. But, insane was easier, quite a bit frankly. 5/5 and got on my (very short) favorites list. If you do Original first, don't be afraid. Insane is easier.
Am I the only one that has random lag spikes for absolutely no reason? I have no ads showing on my screen (I scrolled around so I can't see either, so they don't lag me up) and I can usually run any game (including Unity ones) without lag, but this one just has random lag spikes, and it kills the game. 3/5 though
The hard badge should really be an impossible. You get next to no energy so no attack you can do will have any good force to it, combined with the fact that the enemies in survival are exceptionally strong, even if you compare it to some of the later missions on hard mode, except you got 25x or more energy throughout the campaign. 2/5.
By the way, I had to restart because I couldn't get past a level because I had made it too hard for myself to pass on the way back. If you need help, here's a hint: levels become a lot easier (both the first and second times you do them) when you just jump up and down then move a bit and jump up and down and move a bit to get away from your "shadow" and then when the door is ready you just charge it. On the way back, you can basically just run into the first few shadows and then all the other ones will be a snap to get, then it's just a matter of getting up to the door. For example, on the hourglass level, I just dropped to the left, jumped around a bit and then as soon as the door was ready, I walljumped up and on the way back, it was just a matter of dropping to the right and then walking left and jumping up, super simple.
Shooting is completely useless. If you get stuck up against a wall that covers the entire field and you HAVE to shoot it, it just flies at you, and you're likely to still get hit since by the time shooting takes it out, you're really close. Also, the random flashes are incredibly annoying and make it very difficult to play. 1/5
@reelperson I did the same when I was having issues poisoning him, and he cast Death on himself twice, but both times he missed, I was really hoping he could have done it, too.
@Punisher2099 Magic Shield will cut anything related to magic in half. Shield will cut anything related to physical in half. Potions are neither, so don't get cut.
If you hit escape until you get only up until the laser activates, and then fall back down, the "ESC" picture on the wall that points you to go up turns into a trollface. I never noticed that before xD
