well at least you didn't blatantly republish shootorial then pretend like you worked hard making everything from scratch and not giving kongregate any kredit.
"I'll be making better stuff with AS3 soon." "soon." well I hope you understand "soon" won't be next week or possibly months. good luck man.
meh, the sound effects are fun.
and omgit, as a physics major i couldn't agree more but as a programmer its WAY easier to just have one function to take care of all deaths regardless of the cause.
I like it. the mechanics are perfect in my opinion. but could you PLEASE make the board chequered so that you know if your lined up or not. the game can be lost on the first move if your not careful. 4/5
this was a great game. undeniably inspired by lightbot but still a different experience in its own right. I loved how you had to think about more than one robot at a time. 5/5. you rock hoodamath.
very impressive for a first game. I like that you decided to try something new with the whole upside down jumping thing. and your plot was very witty. I'm going to be nice and give you 5/5 but i do have some complaints. the pixel perfect jumping and leap of faith levels really kill it for me. I wish there was a little more novelty than simply everything being upside down. perhaps something where different characters are in different gravity fields (IE one type of enemy walks on walls, another walks right side up...etc)
I look forward to seeing your future work.
it was good. a bit frustrating at times (I hated the wind levels). the thing that killed it for me was when the game insisted you make certain leaps of faith. thats poor level design in my opinion. since i liked the graphic style and since its your first (of hopefully many) games, I give you 4/5
I recommend that you sell your code as part of a "build a sniper game" package. far more profitable than pushing this demonstration as a game.
well implemented and well done. im not going to vote on it though cause its more of a toy than a game. as headfirst said: "its not a game its a game mechanic."
5/5! this was amazing. i loved the concept of shooting yourself to progress. people who like shooters will not like this because it is not fast paced and not familiar. its deterministic. almost fits better in the strategy category or even in the puzzle category. sure it got repetitive at times, but it was short enough not to matter.
also I loved your plot. it made me laugh. reminds me of "the presidents been kidnapped by ninjas. are you badass enough to save him?" you sir are awesome. make more games like this.
I must admit I was expecting a crappy space invaders knock off. You really caught me off guard.
almost unplayable on my mouse pad. since thats a problem on my end, I abstain from voting.
WOW! this is the BEST GAME EVER. where did you ever come up with this idea. its so perfect. the graphics are astounding and I've never seen gameplay like this before. WELL DONE! should TOTALLY BE ON THE FRONT PAGE!!!
*sigh*
