it's actually rewarding players for being lasy and fumbling into the training. It's less of an issue at pro but still. Yes the level speed up and gives more and more point, but starting the level with better level up will increase the speed of the speeding up itself. So once in a while, you better let you fall and restart.
Keep it simple like that, add enemies, quest and path. Maybe more jobs and a choice between them at start ? Even if it's brake a little that fun story.
I think you are not so right siveran, if you follow the perfect plan, there is a point when you simply need so much workers then you can click fast enought to add them. At this point, you can give them more life to continue your progression. So life upgrade sucks until you need more then around 70 workers.
The best ratio I got up to now is around 3 speed : 2 land : 2 sight. the amount of worker needed. I think it as to do with the square root of speed*land don't ask me why and this is not true at the beginning when the farm is growing.
The game look awesome, there is just a flaw : I'm not here to see a movie but to play a game. And in this game genre, this game as nothing of special to offer.
I found the alternative ending that end with "~ Fin ~" instead of "~ The End ~" that was an awesome idea.
Plz add a bard ! I would love a new clas or two
1) You should give a hint somewhere that the green ball is a "'magic" ball with bouncing over 100% . This will necesserly be counter intuitive for most people and the won't realize it before a long moment if they never seen such a ball in another game like this.
2) there is a way to make the level 20 much easier : Remove the 2 planks just after the ball pass the character, use the momentum of the ball to reach right away the target, use a box to stop on target.
3) Some level are quite just a matter of timing. You might have to restart 10-15 time even if you know how to solve it. For me it's a bit of a fail for a puzzle game.
I got 5 stars every where. It just feel pretty weird in that type of game that I had to turn around and fill more dino to make more points. I think you give just a pinch too much point for killing dino.
Great game.
I feel there is too much square on the map. Once you get something flying you just go trought the levels one after another.
really nice game but i feel like something is missing to be perfect. Maybe some RPG elements. Level ups ? gaining skills ? Also some more levels would make the game far less redundant. Try to give advantage to caracter that have special move ability.
Also there is a big balance issu, some move being way to long to recover for what they do.
Sorry if i'm complaining a lot. You have a pretty good game and it could just become epic with some more stuff.
First, this is a complaint about everything that as upgrades. Please if it is intended to be part of the game don't make the evolution curve and the cost of ugrade so the only playable path is to upgrade all squared. Doing so just kill the spirit of upgrading. Don't give us choices if there is only one choice that is good !!
Next : The veteran achievement "launch the rocket 30 times" is funny put you give bonus to people that crash the most often ! This is non sens
First not a bad game at all ! Nice work.
I really like the game concept of classes. The fast pace of all this. But to be frank, the main idea to fall all the time is less attractive to me. Pretty easy also and not much to plan in advance. What you see of the level is too small for this.
Finaly, in term of game balance the pendant of evasion is too useful. too strong.
Ps : Since some people got stuck not having the keys for the temple. Just make sure there is a path. The temples are in red brick, the other levels all give a key.
4/5 because it's not really what I call a game.
*5/5 for the piece of art (or something else) well I mean, the execution of the idea is perfect.
*2/5 for the "game". Is it supposed to be a game anyway ? I guess no.
To PleasingFungus :
About random bots, well the game run pretty fast. I'm sure you can simulate many more robots then the one that you actualy show to the player. What you can do is to test the first thousand robots possible in any configuration and if you happen to see a fail into them just send that robot out along with random robots and some that you clerverly choosed knowing it'll cause bugs (like the extremly long string you send in the level androids!). Let's call it applicated murphy law. Of course, random robots will scrumble the "best time" statistique so I would put two optional button. One labelled "random bots" that would cancel the "best time" count and one labeled "murphy law" that would make the game harder.
Once you reach level 20 or something, you got max lives and all... It's become way too easy, I made 2 levels by simply pressing CTRL and not even bothering about the arrows. I guess, as long as you care pressing CTRL the score get higher. Not quite my point of view about a good game =) . It prove at least one thing : I got fun with this game for 10 minutes.
Not bad concept but there is a big flaw wich turn the game into a metagaming "find the flaw and win everything".
So If you want to play don't read further (spoiler).
Once you understand that greed give so much bonus that it let you by as much inta-kill and obstacle remover (actually it give lot of money). You end up instkilling any single enemy and hunting any single obstacle in the game much or less mindlessly. I would suggest to not giving money when monster are instant killed and reduce the insta-kill cost by 10.
