First I was not excited about this game at all. Then I reached higher levels and realized that I was actualy making them faster then easier level. I just learned something in the process and it make this game awesome after all. Satisfying and well worth it.
For you asked a game with other sided dices : Only squares, triangles and hexagons tile like this. Triangles gives 4 sided dices who have no opposite faces. I dont think 12 sided dices would make the game more challenging or fun. Have a strange feeling it wouldn't work well at all.
I reached 97 of skill and prestige. I was aiming for 100 but i'm staring to wonder if it's even possible. Someone is up for the challenge ? Really good game thx !
Guys, you dont need to have control on "how they evolve" because they evolve in the best way possible. It's the essence of evolution.
Sad it's too short. More levels would be nice. Carnivorous minions that eat smaller minions could also make awesome game play.
It's sad that running randomly and not paying attention produce more gold per minute then actually trying to save fuel and do stuff properly. The whole game end up running brainlessly trough the enemy. Upgrading damage and rof in priority to be able to kill all of them even faster and more carelessly.
Good graphics, nice controls, but the game play really is meh. The blood pool mechanic is just broken. It just force me to press B once in a while. The level caps are way too early. I don't know, I don't like the result.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say that the blood mechanic is broken. You simply gain blood from killing enemies and then when it's full you can use it to heal your tower. It never forces you to use it so you can sit back with it and use it strategically at the right time. As for the level cap, we agree that 30 still might be too low and may increase it further based on more feedback.
First time I resolve a map like this : I send a wave of blaster on top of a spawner and I quicky rotate them to keep up the ammo. It take a lot of micro management, but as we know once the spawner is dry, it's easily controlable with very few energy. You must target a spawner on a mountain so the creep from the other down drop on you.
If you can hold one of those, the map pressure start to drop dramaticaly.
First, I made the level 21 with a score of 96. I got a gold medal. Now I made it with a score of 99 and sparing the life of one of the 2 other character. I want my platinum medal ! :'(
You can be so fast that you get out of the screen. When this happen the monsters respawn on you. It's incredibly annoying and you get insta-gibbed each time. Until you get how to manipulate it and use it to grind. Then the game is definitively broken.
I really loved the difficulty level. And the common saves make it unharmful. Just one little thing that annoy me : once you got upgrades and hearts, traveling the same area is made easy. Once you get the boots, there is no challenge at all since the save points are too close from each other. I'd suggest you make some of them desapear once we get key tools (knife, boots) so backtracking would be a challenge. Not just a tedious task.
I don't know if it's only me, but going straight in a 40° and keep shooting only to slow down or accelerate to dodge the sideway asteroid seem to make the game incredibly easy.
Maybe the game was meant to be that easy ? In the old asteroid, one needed to leave the big asteroid alone and take them down one after another, because otherwise their was too much obstacle. In this one you just shoot shoot shoot and hack your way trough all the game. in 40° angle...
I'm pretty mad about that. I had a composition 2 knight, 1 mage, 2 cleric. The clerics were healing the knights and all was fine I reached the king challenge. Then I upgraded my clerics into bishops. They became useless :'( . They were buffing my now dying knights instead of healing them. The knights were quicky dead and my back row couldn't hold the enemies at all...
Make upgrades useful or at least give the possibility to downgrade. Really had to go tought 2 years of game to recruit and train 2 new cleric before I managed to kill the king :'(
The concept have been overused lately. Get over it please, unless you really have an idea. This game is not particulary good, nor particulary artitistic. Monochrome graphics are not "artistic" at some point they are just lazy.
