Ok not sure who -1 my last comment but some info would have been a better suggestion. The lag is horrible and I can't use the items. I can collect them and when I click them I see the same info I got when I picked them up. I can't use them on each other or use them on the field. I want to try and use the button from the coats on the elevator but I can't. When I was loading the game there was a script error. I think that may have something to do with the inability to use the items. It didn't give any specific info about the error though so I can't google it to find a fix.
It is super laggy and I can't figure out how to use the objects. I have several but when I click them they just repeat the info I got when I picked them up.
Very good platformer. I don't generally like platformers because I have slow reflexes, poor hand eye coordination and arthritis in my hands so I suck at them. I made it to the mid point of Crush before I gave up. By then I had reached my limit. I nearly quit before reaching that mid point but pushed on. Just can't get past those moving spiky platforms under the door. I liked the graphics, responsiveness of the controls and general puzzle qualities. I play without music but the sound effects were nice as well. Good game. 4/5. If you had placed two save points in some of the areas I would have given it a 5/5. Being able to take a break after achieving small victories is important to me since it doesn't take much to frustrate me or cause me physical discomfort.
I can't seem to get through level 7. I can get on the left side of the fire standing on the axe but can't get across to the other side. Not sure if it's just my lousy hand eye coordination or if I am missing something. Fun game for the 6 levels I mastered. :D
Finally got it done. I just couldn't let it go this time so I kept coming back. I did try the beserk-stun-smash order for the dark one, stun only when purple for the tentacles, regen only when purple for the demon and nothing for the ork just healed if needed. It came down to one hit for each of us and I got mine in first. Glad to finally have this game beat and have the badge.
Thanks for the help Greg and PeteSF. I have tried using your tips another 3 times and still can't seem to get it. Sometimes it just isn't meant to be I guess.
This was a fun game. I have played it several times and end up the same. I am at the final battle, maxed all upgrades and I am seriously out classed. My opponents keep switching out and coming back full again. There seems to be no ending to their cycling and I don't have enough attack power to damage most of them except for the crit hits every 4th attack. I don't have enough magic to stun them while I whittle away at them or heal myself while I wait for them to switch out. With nothing left to upgrade I find myself doing the same thing over and over. Now I am just frustrated that once again I have wasted my time trying to get this badge and failing.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the final boss! Here are some tips for anyone struggling: Use the stun ability (Meteor Smash) only on enemies that are NOT The Dark One (you just need to survive these guys, not kill them). Use Lion Cut and Berserk when The Dark One appears (he's your real target, and he doesn't attack you directly). Use Regeneration whenever needed (you should have enough mana if you don't use Meteor Smash on The Dark One or Lion Cut/Berserk on anyone else). I hope this helps! (edit: As PeteSF pointed out, it's probably okay to use Meteor Smash on The Dark One, but it shouldn't be necessary.)
Don't have any idea what I am doing wrong but the darkness is eating everything I build faster than I can replace it. Can't build things in the center of the map since they need magic and the darkness keeps eating my magic producing areas.
I don't know how much further in the game I need to go for the badge but I made it to the point where I kill some guys and roll into a ball through a long tunnel then come out into a guy who is right on top of me and I can't shoot him fast enough, I get off that ledge to aim at him and fall right into at least 4 other guys and I am dead. Over and over so it's not a learning curve issue it's just not possible for me. Was a fun game up till that point. Not sure if the healing packs healed me 100% if that would have made a difference but I am done. This is the second badge of the day I won't get this week. I really hope the rest of the week is easy.
I made it so far only to be taken out by a stupid little white dot that I can't even see. :( I suck at that snake game when it's full screen and I can see what I am doing. So sad that I can't see the dot let alone have the reflexes to catch it multiple times without hitting the walls. No badge for me. *cries and throws a tantrum, farts a pastry* ohhh pastry
So I finally beat the game. My ultimate team from left to right was: tab 2 vehicle 1 Punisher, Tab 4 vehicle 3 Bad Boy, and Tab 5 vehicle 3 Ram. All fully loaded. Made the perfect combo and I was amused by the ending game sequence.
I would like to make the truck up front aim at the road hazards. The truck with the missiles to aim at the things in the air and the machine gunner follow my cursor. After I have cleared the first wall a few times couldn't my guys send some reinforcements and hold the line there? Must I go all the way back to the beginning over and over again? I mean really after a bit that gets super boring and repetitive. When you are really having trouble getting past that 4th wall you just don't want to play anymore since you are just doing the same thing all the time. 3 stars but really I wish there was a 2.5 option.
It's fun to play. Not a bad job for a 10 day game. There are a couple of issues for me. I can't kill the boss. It's reach exceeds mine. It would be nice if there was a way to strafe so I can keep my sword aimed at the enemy while running backwards to escape as they come forward. *spoiler alert* There are spots where the scenes change that you can lure the enemies back to the previous scene and they can't reach you while you just slaughter them.
For the boss, the trick is to actually attack the hand and try to stay away from its reach as you dodge it around the corners of the place, but yeah, it’s pretty hard to reach the satisfying ending although a few did it.
And nuuu not the scene glitch!
The final battle felt like I was stuck in a loop. Each time a transformation occurred and the health bar of the enemy was full it made me mad. I felt like all the effort to damage him was in vain.
While the game does in fact seem derivative of many others this one gets two stars from me. It has something many lack...a fast load time. Even on first load it's fast. It took me less time to get both badges and be done with this game than it took two others to load and finish the first tutorial.
Extremely hard on an old computer. Super slow loading and probably one of the most boring games I have played in a long time. Great graphics at the expense of functionality and game pace. Not good and I can't wait to get my two badges and get the heck out of this swampy monstrosity!
I enjoyed this game. Well at least the parts I made it to. I didn't even want to mute it like most games. I found the reassuring voice pleasant..."we've got time". Sadly I made it as far as the room where you go under the blocks then ride a transport block between two rows of spiked and have to get under a vertical row of spikes. I couldn't get under that last row. Boom went the keyboard...game over for me.
