Oh, i entirely did play it long enough to see its plus points, those plus points did nothing to move away from its bad points (Yknow. Like being a generic tetris clone.), about the only thing it had going for it was its leveling mechanism for slowly tossing in new parts instead of leaping headfirst...But i repeatedly found myself thinking "Man, i really could have used (Insert common tetris block shape here.) earlier, before it was actually unlocked.", There has literally been tens of thousands of clones of tetris by now. What makes yours stand out from the rest? You trying to tell me that since tetris was created, nobody has ever thought "Hey, lets use more pieces in the game!", or "Hey! Lets use a ghost piece" (Actually, the ghost piece is standard now!), or "Hey, lets make the graphics in MS paint".
When you release a game that dosent boldly go where every of the tens of thousand tetris clones go, then you can get a rating of more then 1/5 from me.
So because my game isn't 100% original it is bad and deserves a 1... in that case about 90% of games on this site should get ones and in fact 90% of ALL games are bad. I want to know, what was the highest piece you found? Did you play the game enough to even experience a hexomino or higher? Did you get to the point where you have to start thinking ahead of time instead of the typical tetris style of thought. This game is more than tetris because you have to think differently to succeed and you have to learn unique ways to apply each piece. You really should not be comparing a game's rating off previous games, a rating should be based off itself and not be subject to other people's creations.
You walked into my resident chat room to advertise this for ratings, in hopes of winning the weekly prize...Well, good news, bad news, and really bad news.
Good news is, you appear to be experiencing more success on ratings for this then it actually deserves, being that its a simple tetris knockoff. (N-tris. Yeah, thats so different.)
Bad news, you are only mustering forth a 3.22 rating, where you would need atleast a 3.5 right now to manage the weekly prize...
Really bad news, pretty much most of my resident room also 1/5'd this. Myself included.
Horrible unexpected news.
The cutoff for the weekly is in about a day. And i rather doubt that you will manage another spike in ratings by then unless you start cheating, which would be noticed.
Well thank you, I would like to note that when I was trying to publicize my game I hadn't gotten enough ratings to view my rating. I am going to assume you didn't even play the game far enough to see it's unique points that make it different than tetris and if you gave it a second thought the only reason my game has that low of a rating is because of your room that 1/5'd it without even playing the game because if you notice I have people who liked it, whether they were good or not. So next time you are going to rate a game at least play it enough to even see the game's aspects
Yknow, its a usual pay to win game, sure...But i see my biggest issue is simple.
The level cap on kongregate is 30. The level cap elsewhere on other sites is 50. So we got shipped a pay to win...And not even the full version of it!
There isnt really a point in making the upgrades and few tower unlocks reset every level when you realize that the research point persistence has made it so that i could easily go back to an easy, early level, then simply generated a few hundred research points easily.
Or, if i did what i did in later levels, use my few hundred research points, buy the research lab, and the upgrades for cash generation and research generation, drop down a few plasma cannons, then alternate between dropping labs and cannons (and upgrading said cannons) throughout the level. And then, boom. By the end of the level ive got another 2000 research points.
Yknow, im not sure the health department would approve of this chef kicking food to his customers...across a field. and hitting multiple bystanders. i mean the 5 second rule can only be applied so much...
I hate the way armor works. Its the whole "suddenly the armor you have not being capable of doing the same thing anymore" bit. As a result of it, i was able to barely kill a boss, go away, train my team and get new gear...And walk in and get killed even faster.
I do not enjoy it when games decide to impose challenge by first giving the enemy equal upgrades to myself, then proceeding to give them even more power on top of that. I can not obtain over 10 troop regen on a high capacity tower. The AI can and it shouldnt.
According to Kupo707's facebook, he is planning on a monday (today.) or tuesday (tomorrow) release. this is likely why this guide is popping up here, because the game soon will as well.
Its great and all...but it has what i consider a flaw...it calls itself a sequel and all it seems to have done is add in more stuff to buy. and maybe one or two new monsters that i dont remember existing before...not so much a sequel as just an expansion of the original.
Sadly, this just plays like a knockoff of pocket creatures, the only thing i notice it introduces that sets it apart is the monster crafting, but even then its offset by a low quantity of options in the end.
A generic cell game for the most part, albeit easier then most due to the fact that you can upgrade unit life, and the fact that units can shoot units that are in a rather fair range away isnt a plus either. feels waaaay to easy.
It feels less zelda like and more zelda ripoff to be honest. basically every sprite is a simple pallet swap from the sprites from a legend of zelda game, it just feels like it would be a zelda tribute, but at the same time its to different, and the graphics just make it look like your graphics designer was being lazy and decided to steal his graphics from nintendo.
Simply put, ive run into a nice little issue as a result of being unable to fire workers. i have two skilled and two newbies. as a result, im being charged 20k a month in wages...the problem? some of my games just got archived. now as a result my income is lower then my upkeep for their salaries. if i could fire the weaker ones this wouldnt be an issue, as i could easily crank out higher quality games to fix this, but oh wait. i cant, and without that, im unable to produce any games at all.
Yeah. its a neat game and all, but the whole "requires game to be popular to unlock new areas" thing is just a cheap way to try and artificially make your game more popular. not cool man. not cool.
Aside from the fact its like another game by them, *cough* Tesla death ray *Cough*, its a fairly solid game. I view it as a sequel of sorts to the original game, as it is improved nicely.
