I got 57 sec on the hard doomrun, and now you fix your stupid mistake so I end up easily scoring 150 seconds worth of doomrun? urgh! Also, the jumping controls feel just a little off. All in all, not bad, but the bad sorta stinks and is yet another massively long tedious who really has this much time sort of badge.
Poor AI, controls feel very bad a lot of the time, aiming seems horrible, missions are dull, survival is a major pain, and I see no reason why I'd want to play skirmish.
30 damage to all is an obscenely high number, in a 5card thats 150 damage. Also, if you do it twice, thats 60 to a single character, and can kill many of them. If my opponent lets me get off two of your TOD's, the game is essentially over.
if Jade statue will give +10 hp, and Juju Touch o dooms Onimaru w/ statue, will it just do 99 damage, or kill him? Like the new critical and the bigger, actually readable icons. Says I have 46 cards, when I have 57. My 3 starter cards are not showing up in picture form on my profile. (Cards 126, 128 and 135 btw :) )
single player, bot CAN'T change range with anybody. It sat there and rested with Ashi. It seemed to do a decent job attacking, switching, and intercepting, though it did intercept when I had cooldown in effect. I had one character with an item, and when I switched to another character w/o an item, the icon stayed up in the corner but had no effect or scrollover text.
Needs to have a option for a audio alert when someone joins your game. Also, stacking multiple cards on the deck building screen would cut down on clutter. A interrupted attack uses energy, but one that fails due to range change doesn't. Damage like poision does damage immediately after being inflicted, and can kill someone before their move goes off. Sirlin was surprised by this :) Tiger claw does a lot of damage, especially stacked with Zina's hit all move. Ashi is very strong. Switch cooldown needs its own icon (Or take out switch cooldown)
I really dislike the switching cool down, I think it adds a lot of slippery slope that wasn't there before. Switching is currently the only sort of block/dodge move we have, and honestly, most of the testers I have seen DON'T spam it. Also, if I switch in at the range to have them do a power move, they have a free shot at doing it. (yes, yes, I'm ignoring move potential. Same sort of problems. I move close, they slam my weakened character with a high speed move, kills her.) And, it seems to me that we replace strategic switching with a spectacularly dull move/rest/move combo, which takes longer than the switching did. I think it also lessens the use of intercept.
Lowering the Marquis' teleport speed to 6 makes him a lot more likely to get hit by something, and he already has low hp/high move costs.
30+ levels is a bit much, perhaps. Especially since the basic premise of the game never changes. good leveling system (mostly) though some upgrades seem useless or underpowered. an auto-fire button (Like on zunderfury) would be good. Still haven't figured out what all the achievements are
Save formation is desperately needed. Also, the map jumps all the way to the right, making you scroll over each and every time you conquer one of the 30-ish countries on the left. Some more units and scenarios would be fun, especially a mode where you fight against a computer controlled Khan for world domination.
my anti air takes away 95% of health? so its too little damage for machine guns to wipe them out, and requires another shot from the slow AA gun.. bleah. Needs multiple save slots, map design felt poor, AI felt poor (targeting unarmed vehicles when the enemy missile pod is nailing me left and right) enemy shots seem to have splash damage, dialog seems poorly translated, and its possible I'm just not great at this game, but after the helicopters, difficulty shot up, and if I took the increase interest, I would have been wiped out in seconds.
I'm sorry, labeling a map 'easy' and making the coolest units, Necros, accessible at that point and then going 'oh wait, you just failed!' at level 30+ is not funny, it is not fun, and it make you a sadist. Thats the sort of 'joke' that plays significantly better in a 5 or 10 round level, not one I just spent an hour on. Anything with that much borked is significantly less strategy and 100% read your mind. Or trial and error for six hours. Bah
