@Cobra35 - the levels are slightly randomized; I played through twice and saw Scorpio before Cancer the first time, but then Cancer then Scorpio the second time.

"retards"? Why would we PAUSE? Unless we did that, we'd never SEE any MENTION of the "hints/tips" page. This crypticism and the slowdown from 'shakycam' lowers it to 4/5. Otherwise excellent game with original idea.

HEY DARKKIDDO - MAYBE we want to MUTE the deafening music WHEN IT STARTS, not after it's loaded AND we've had to START a game; most releases by ArmorGames have the COURTESY of having a 'Settings' button in the MAIN MENU. That gives it -1. The physics/jumper puzzle mechanics are okay; not amazingly original but not stultifyingly boring and cliche, either. And the difficulty (including reflexes and timing required for us old farts) is neither patronizingly easy nor frustratingly hard. But the condescending "I'm so cute I'm a bleeping idiot" tone in the tutorial messages gives it another -1. 3/5

Sorry, the code is laggy and stuttering, ruining any chance of timing with my play. Obviously it's not the graphics bogging things down with the pixellated, but decent style. The music is sorta 8-bit synth, which is nice on its own, but adds to the 'retro feel'. The controls, however, stink on ice (sorry). The 'edge of the "screen"' camera control is unfeasible, and even using the cursor keys is erratically functional. It also seems like the mouse location detection is poorly-done, since I often find cuts made in places OTHER than what I planned and THOUGHT I clicked on. Further the physics are somewhat dodgy with immobility in what SHOULD slide or fall, and motion from things that should NOT. It's a promising game and a great idea, but it needs more work to be entertaining for me.

Interesting. The mirror-image thing was a bit of a change, but kinda welcome. Some of the details are almost invisible (yeah, smello6000 - my last eye exam said 20/19+ with astigmatism, and my eyes hurt from straining, but one gets that with ANY of these games). Oh, ans Seshmir? THANK YOU - would but others took this mentality to heart.

Wow, some of those clues and hint are REALLY obtuse. It's elaborate, and interesting, but clearly not everyone likes having to bend their mind and 'think outside the box'. I confess to resorting to a walkthrough for the stickman (timing and pausing just right in a pre-programmed turn-based platformer is not really fun to me), and then those poster hints didn't really do much. Especially the 'dj equalizer' one - again it would require far too much trial and error to work out the right combination on my own, so I went back to the walkthru again...and had to use it TWICE as I misread one tiny step and had to start over. Hint: More complex & elaborate != more fun, just == longer time to complete.

@jonathanmadison ...instructions which HAVE to read, unless you're totally illogical and skip level 1... But great game, nice music, excellent puzzles to build off Conway's Life, and the SANDBOX is a FANTASTIC idea, (and popular, based on all the user-created level codes being posted here :D ) The only catch is the api/flash programming glitch that crashes Firefox if one clicks outside of the flash app and then tries to click back in it. :( 4/5 only because of that

Not bad; nice music, decent art style (tho the electron microscope backdrop doesn't do anything for me), despite the frustration that can develop in the game (I'm old and my hands are getting palsied) it keeps me pretty calm. 3/5 (damn that creepy-lookin' mold or whatever! )

@giab - yep, welcome to the "CRPG grind" - going and killing masses and masses of randomly respawning monsters in order to simply level your PC(s) to a point where they can use/wear/buy the required items for the plot, or fight and BEAT a story-related mob. I've been doing it for...shit, *DECADES* (damn, now I feel old) It's not that bad, really. I get a little annoyed with the real-time combat bit, but I'm old and my reflexes suck - gimme turn-based combat! ;) And YES, the SAME PERSON made both this AND "Hands of War" - heck READ THE STORYLINE: this is a "500 years later..." *sequel*!! .....sigh....

Now THIS is a pretty good 'interactive story' - the graphics are 'crude' but then, the don't NEED to be elegant and detailed. There's barely any music (the ambient 'underwater' sound) but that goes with the game, and best of all, it's NOT DEAFENING!!!

I'm sorry, PLEASE provide some volume/mute control for you nice but DEAFENING MUSIC!!!!! It renders the game unplayable to be assaulted with such noise levels on my computer's LOWEST volume setting. The rest of the game looked interesting - more of an interactive story, but this GLARING fault of poor programming prevents me from completing the game, and also from giving it anything more than 3/5, which I'm willing to give based on the nice melody of the music, the art style, and the start of this story. PLEASE put more testing and 'beta' feedback into your future efforts.

Not bad, but the volume of fire is absurd (80 guns means 80 for BOTH broadsides; 40/battery, not *120* for each), and it's essentially "Age of Sail" or "Pirates!" meets *Space*Invaders* Nonetheless, 4/5.

It's entirely possible that everyone has been making spam comments (post this to 4... or the like), or has been giving spoilers (doubtful) or just irrelevantly offensive. But yeah, you can only go up/down/left/right. It's pretty good, but the 'dynamically generated music' wasn't all it was cracked up to be. 4/5 anyways! :)
