The new content is great and all, the classes, the new quests, and the mounts were a nice touch. But it would've been better if you gave players the ability to be more well versed with a character. just because a character is a dual-wielding rouge, doesn't mean that they cant perhaps use a shield, or try to keep their distance with a bow. The classes shouldnt be stuck with a single pre-set.
The game has a nice, effective concept, but an effective _concept_ doesn't mean an effective _game_. the missions are too hard-nosed, with little time to complete them. the sticky snow effect is just plain stupid; perhaps a more realistic physics engine is in order. and the controls: shotty. just plain shotty. The inteval of time between the action and the execution is severely gapped. The mose-based tricks drived me nuts, and the game will usually register a jump as "crash" even after a trick is complete and the board lands solid. I know this may be your first game, but you should've worked out a lot of these bugs before you posted this. 2/5.
Chibi Knight gives us a well-rounded, Zelda-like feel while still having very sitinct and unique aspects that make playing it enjoyable! The artwork is ,simply said, cute, and the graphics are very good. The boss battles are great, too, but the first two seemed a bit lacking for some reason, cant put my finger on it. Though I'm dissapointed how most of the enemies are of little to no threat at later levels; I was wishing that there'd be enemies that grow in challenge as you progress. But that aside, Chibi Knight makes you wish there were more games that are as fun and creative like this one. this game gets a 4/5.
it's a great layout, decent graphics. and the place is huge, lots of room to explore. and even the cliffs have an expansive area to look in. Although it isn't a perfect game, it's a great starting prototype. 3/5
To those who don't know of it, there's a special route inbetween the green and red bases that can bypassthe base's shield entirely! Though it's a tad longer than the direct route through the shield, it's a true lifesaver when you need to get the flag fast! Rate this up so everyone can read this and know!
also this was quoted from the creator's profile page: For those concerned about a game attached to Medieval Character Maker:
"Yes there will be a major, non-casual, multi/singleplayer game for you to use the character you made on it.
"I just posted the character creator earlier so people could give me a feedback if it is ready enough for the actual game.
"So fell free to comment here what you like/dislike and what you would like to see implemented.
"Im currently making the Stats Distribution System, wich will have direct influence on your character’s appearance.
"Keep checking the project often as I work on it daily.
"Thank you for your oppinions and high hopes on this project."
If you wanna go the extra mile on weapon sets, you should include more, like shurikens and claymores. And probably add more combat stances to each wield. And the ability to "imbue" your character's weapons with magic would be awesome, too! And in a way, I agree with Themimic1013 when he says that you should try to make more authentic armor. But overall, this game is impressive, and i really hope you get to improve on this in the future!
Unfortunatelly making 3D graphics is my worse ability atm. As for adding new weapons and features, those will have to wait till the game is bug free and stable! =D
Bystander #1: Ooh, look! Some shady-lookin guy is running at us with a giant javelin!
Bystander #2: Ah, we shouldn't worry. He's obveously Harmless!
Bystander #3: What about the poor guy on the end of it?
Bystander #2: It's probably just for looks. We're perfectly sa..*shlank*
To those who might want an Age of War 3, bad news. If you guys didn’t read his blog, he stated that Max Games pretty much undermined the “Age of war” game rights out from under him. he can’t make any more “Age of War” games. He said himself, “I still don’t know what I will do. I might release a sequel, just to piss them off and end up in court.” “I could also release a very similar game, called Army of Ages. That would be fun.” But overall, “Age of War” is, unfortunately, dead. perhaps the creator might make Army of Ages. Who knows? Keep this post alive! People need to know!
All this advanced technology, and the Germans couldn't create a better alarm system than some bleepy box that you destroy with a flashlight. How ironic.
Thank you for posting this in here Jared! =D Your help is very usefull as usual!
