@Jonahx, pipes cost 5 research to assign to be built. That is obvious. But they also require 1 component to build as well. so if your pipes aren't building, check to make sure you have spare components. It is actually a 2 part build process, one person needs to carry a component to the pipe, and then another needs to perform the build.
some tips: veteran ability is OP in combat. water and power pipes can overlap. You can pick up colonists and move them anywhere, say, to and from a combat situation. I feel like combat and moving goods is the most time consuming, so I favor combat and speed boosts, and I also favor mining and building negatives.
I'm sorry, but I hate games that give tons of options, but are actually quite restrictive in gameplay. I feel like you could cut out %90 of the units/resources/buildings, and the game play and strategies you use would be about the same.
I know I suck at the game, but I've reached a strange point in the game. I keep losing cities, and I'm not strong enough to take them back. The training seems to be giving less and less stat points (sometimes I actually get none). I'm... losing?
instead of a favorite legion category, if we could sort by the damage that a legion does, that would work too. (ie, don't put troops in a legion you don't want, and it would sort to the bottom.)
The game is too fast for me. Most of the time when I win, it is because I knew exactly how to build for that level, and I concentrated on that. And even though I've won, I feel like I missed out on all the action, since the victories come so quickly. I scroll over only to see my army mopping up.
I applaud this game for not being mindless clickity clicking, being somewhat automated. But, it leaves the game somewhat devoid of game play. But the truth is, all the other pay-to-play games are just as devoid of game play, if you look past the surface statistics and numbers. In that sense, this game is very honest. I'll give this game 5 stars, just because it shows best how stupid these pay-to-play games are.
I really like this game, and the past versions. BUT, it is so damn slow! I can't keep playing this. I like the autofight, but everything, the fights, walking around, the strategy fights, all too slow.
wartex, I do like build over time games; that's why I played this game and joined a top alliance. But the gameplay is too risky; mod me down all you want. The way the combat works, is that if you lose, you lose big. All your troops die, and you can lose weeks, maybe months of work.
Folks, don't play this game. It is a scam. The game play sucks, and is NOT designed to be fun. It is designed to be addictive and make you want to spend money to continue. You are forced to spend money to play competitively, and even then, you need to play the game on kabam.com to get the best items. Plus, you are constantly offered HUGE prizes if you spend money on some specific item at a specific time. This seems like a cool game at first, but it's not. It ends up being a scam. You've been warned.
