It's a good game but it's too repetitive and could use some variation in the gameplay. Some prisms that bend or multiply the lasers would be a nice edition. Also, maybe in later levels only certain colour lasers could light certain colour nodes. Just some ideas.
Sorry for the comment spam... I hate people that do this and I'm being a hypocrite but another thing came to my attention: I noticed that the scoring system awards 2 points to the player for knocking the opponent out of the arena on their appointed side, but 1 for knocking them out of your own side. This is what I mean by detailed instructions should be added; the player should be informed of things like this.
A game that shows A LOT of promise! I'm impressed with the actionscripting! But...:1. The Graphics could be (much) better2. It needs configurable controls3. It needs more detailed instructions in game4. Some added variations on the theme would be nice (different modes, power-ups, etc.)5. It definately needs some sfx and/or music!5. The controls are a bit sluggish. If all the formatting tags appear, that sucks. The comment box says it accepts textile and I'm trying it out...
This game is good, but unbalanced. Enemy shots take of several times the amount of "strength" that is added by any bubbles. Bigger enemies should give off bigger bubbles because in later stages there are so many advanced enemies it becomes impossible to dodge shots, and if you're sent to a safe zone and go to any other stage the enemies are too numerous to regain your strength.
Excellent graphics, gameplay, character design... Aces across the board I must say. I stumbled across this gem a while ago but it's quite nice to be able to earn a kongregate badge with it! Are you going to add the other War Bears titles to kongregate as well?
These games are excellent. I love the atmosphere, and the challenge! Though, it is a little unbalanced, as in some can be extremely easy and some can have you sitting there forever trying to find something almost as small as a pixel.. Though I did end up finding them so what the hay..
I appreciated how some of the images were mirrored, it brought something new to the series. (Although I'm back and forth on whether I LIKE it or not...) Another new element I noticed was events triggering when I reached a certain amount of differences left to find. I didn't like, though, how some levels couldn't finish without triggering these events because the difference wasn't there all along, but after the event. As such this game only got 4 stars as opposed to the previous game's 5.
All in all excellent games. I'm looking forward to a third one, just because I admire the art/photography/general style and spotting the differences gives me an excuse to sit there staring at it. :)
