Way too slow to get started. Font is terribly difficult to read. Not nearly enough to do. Enemies are kicking my butt after the initial. Not enjoyable at all.
Not at all a fan of the physics. He speeds up too quickly. Frequently the jump button doesn't work. And you can jump in the air straight up, yet control yourself slightly as you fall...until sometimes you can't. And the kicking is just...infuriating. Cute concept, though.
Had no idea what the point was. Didn't get the story. And was frustrated by how long it took just to get going. But...IT'S SCIENCE! And learning. So, as a game, 1/5. But I'm rating it a 5.
Restarting from scratch on a level because the jump key doesn't work for the last few meters is not a recipe for a solid game. Note: NOBODY likes to repeat the same behavior over and over again. Cute concept, though. 2/5
Achievements don't work. Played this dumb thing for 15 minutes and I still have no progress toward my goal. Critically, though, it's not finished: there's no "health" meters that I see, "Lost Guns" to play the game makes no sense, I have no idea why I'd want to "switch drivers" and what's the value of multiple characters other than to make the game seem longer without making it longer, it's terribly buggy (read other comments about headshots working/non-working, and, frankly, the graphics are not the good old-school. 2/5.
Came back to it a couple of times, but this is not a well-designed game. The upgrade metaphor is confusing (thermo resistance vs. thermo defense), non-linear upgrades make it frustrating, having to travel to the core to get gems for all upgrades is ludicrous and the movement of the ship is frustratingly sub-optimal. I've downgraded from a 2/5 to 1/5. And won't be back.
My drill barely moves left or right which makes the objects to avoid unavoidable. Very little skill, lots of luck. Additionally, the upgrade screen isn't clear - can I only add one of the wrench items at a time? And, personal preference here, I *hate* upgrading items that eventually get thrown aside. Waste of time and resources - only serves to make the game "seem" longer without actually making it longer. 2*.
