Great game. Love the idea, love the execution, the music fits well, the upgrading is great. (I love games where you collect exp to level up various aspects).
My only quibble is there could be more variety. As somebody else said, different coloured balls which react differently. Steel balls which are slower, but knock the ball further, and are harder to hit away. Explosive TNT balls which explode 1 second after you hit them, which can affect all balls around it. Hit hard to get rid of them quickly. (You could maybe have different timers, 1,2 or 3 seconds) denoted by the number on the ball. Rubber balls which will bounce against the edge once and only leaving the 2nd time they hit the edge.
Other than that... love it. 4/5
Fantastic, simple game with a perfect learning curve. Annoyingly frustrating through it's addictiveness, and the perfect compliment of badges. Still working on impossible, I got as high as Saturn or so...
-- How do you do a carnival? Keep spinning as you re-enter the water, it's very hard to time without losing your combo and speed by accident. :(
I have to ask the developer what on Earth was going through his mind when he thought for even a moment this was a fun, releasable game.
Ignoring the fact it looks like a 5year old who is taking English as a 5th language spelt and added the grammar, the game looks horribly rough. The buttons are all different sizes, the questions jump about in different positions due to sloppiness, the music only serves to add size to an already waste of file space... and there is absolutely no fun factor.
Want to know how a well programmed, fun (if slightly frustrating) quiz game looks like? Play Impossible Quiz (1 and 2). This doesn't even deserve a rating.
Not very interesting. How about more powerups and enemies? Very samey. Also, the mute button hangs down INTO the playing area, so whilst shooting, the sound comes on and off a number of times by accident. Horrible placement. Boring game. 2 stars.
Not just a little like Zuma. It IS Zuma, only with more annoying music, rougher looking graphics and absolutely no added extras that stood out. Poor effort.
Looks great, and entertaining. An optional background music, and sound effects would be nice, as well as perhaps a timer and penalty for clicking something that isn't "different"?
Minor extras that'd make it even better. As it is though, it gets a 5.
Boring and glitchy, I'm afraid. Death bug not fixed, got over 2,000,000 points and finally got bored and tried to kill myself. Ended up as nothing but a head unable to collect or die.
For those struggling, do nothing but max the ability which allows a smaller spacing for your segments. The dodging became so easy, I hit a multiplier of around 25 and hit the million score easy.
Then concentrate on armour (you may want to reduce the spacing down to 7 points for a level or two to achieve this quicker). For level 8-9, start concentrating on the blades, then put 1 or 2 points into agility and the rest into retract stamina. Don't hold the button for long, just click it briefly for when you need to quickly bring your tail in and let go so as not to waste it. I got to level 10 very easily, with a score of around 1,300,000.
In 15minutes, managed to get to level 54 before getting a bit stuck. Love it. Loved the first, annoyingly addictive, endlessly frustrating... needs a badge!
Definitely my favourite game on the site. Although it does get a little tedious around wave 400 or so. I ended up suiciding by just clicking Next Wave 20 times. Once you get the railgun... pure carnage ensues! 5/5
Perspective was fine, reminded me of old classics I used to play on my Commodore!
Controls took seconds to work out, as did the concept. Simple, yet engaging. A little easy though. I did all but 2 levels on my first time through, and completed the entire game in less than 10 minutes. Like the idea though.
A nice game that needs to be longer. However, it eludes me how someone can program such a game, yet have spelling far worse than most 12 year olds.
Someone needs to invest in a dictionary...
Complete lack of AI brings what could have been a good game right the way down. 2 stars for effort. Fix the AI by a thousandfold and/or allow one bot to be controlled by the player.
