After a billion years, I finally beat all of the challenge levels... and got nothing. Not even a "Yes, 121 stars is the max number you can get" confirmation. Loved this game (although the colored platforms seemed to be doing some random things in Traps), but it really needed something at the end.
It would be nice if the game came with links to local engineering colleges, since the game seems to assume that we have enough knowledge to build a bridge in real life before playing. How am I supposed to connect the connectors to the walk parts? As soon as I hit test, everything falls into the canyon. Maybe instructions should give some instruction?
Bob uses trial and error and forms a hypothesis. Jeff immediately and intuitively understood what to do. I hate these Understanding Games so much; it's like taking remedial math during your doctorate program. I get why they were created, but they shouldn't have badges. I'm stuck having to read Bub's condescending and smug text and just try to get through them as fast as I can so I can get onto earning badges for REAL games.
Just further reason of why multiplayer flash games should never be made. No multiplayer is so good that it couldn't be made better by being single player
So, as far as I can tell, there's no pause, no "quit this song", no way to change difficulty... and if I go back to the main menu, I lose all of my song progress. Is this about right?
It's quite possible to get $3k on the first day. It's also quite possible to get $1 on the first day. It all depends on how fortunate you are with launcher platforms. I got literally $0.37 my first day and saw exactly 0 platforms during my launch. I reloaded and got $1800 because I happened to hit a few yellow platforms in a row.
An (almost) absolutely PERFECT game! Everything, from the music to the gameplay to the upgrades to the graphics was perfect. Only thing I would change personally a bit more sound in the effects department, particularly in the laser itself. But seriously, amazing job, started playing, and refused to stop until I'd unlocked the Cool Menu.
Meanwhile, back in England, little Sandy never sees her mother again. She stops believing in Santa, and grows up bitter and resentful. Game was good enough, but one of the worst storylines I've ever encountered.
