I ran into a bug while cutting trees down: if trees are planted in high proximity and get cutten down then drops will simply disappear because they find no free spot in range
When I first saw the own farm then I though 'Oh no, it is Harvest Moon with different graphics', then I did walk to the left and got into the village 'yep, Harvest Moon, indeed'. But this game seems to have an additional that you can actually explore stuff and fight stuff, but the relation to Harvest Moon did actually scare me away (I didnt like Harvest Moon). Oh and one thing: the like first thing I wanted to do was making my house bigger, so I hit my door with a hammer to replace it - unluckily it wasn't collectible and now that house has no door
there are some people in highscores with 44 chests found. I got myselfe the archievement 'all chests found' at 43 chests - so are the 44 guys cheating or hacking?
construction mistake: when you enter the room with the guy who wants pizza then you have the window on your left hand with ruden's room behind. But if you stand outside, then the guy's door is at the left side and ruden's door is left to his without any space between for an extra-room!
A very cute and nice game, exspecially the tree shaders that gave the game a more in-depth feeling of walking through the shadows of a giant forest and the water that creates this calm atmosphere. 5/5 for a great game
This Game has slippery controls; means: you jump, hitted a block and just glide aside and fall down the other side of the block. Also you added some music. But actually it is a song from the game Epic Battlefantasy 2 or 3. You shall definitely add some credits if you do not use your own music. Well, I did play till the third or forth castle, so I gave this game a fair try, but slippery controls and the fact that you hit invisible blocks if you try to jump over a block group made it pretty annoying.
I was emulating the feel of the original Mario games, which do have a slight slide after you stop moving that you need to compensate for. As for the music, I must have forgotten to write the credit in the description like I did on Newgrounds so I edited the description to include it. The music was released to Public Domain a little while back at commonly.cc
here two sugestions after i hit a combo of 124:
make the game a bit smaller, so the game itselfe fits on one screen (I play with a 1400x800 resolution). your game is a bit larger than the usual Kongregate games.
And I would like to have any to-avoid objekts permanently seeable on the screen at a corner to have a better overview what to avoid
So in the final Level (hard core mode) there seems to be an easter egg just above the spawning point. You can have a sneak peak if you glide from the winged boot's chest to the very left with wind books, but here my question: what do these guys say? it seems that you need some really high Winged boot upgrade to reach this spot from the ground :( here a screen http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3659/sxxyapkh_png.htm
awesome game, thank you for programming it. i will the the lags on my pc since i did do 3 downloads and had an mmorpg running. the only downside - spearmen are totally useless once i messed up with them. i was never ever again able to level up them again after putting 3 points into bash, while neither my mages nor my knights ever lost a fight. this include the last one with my knights. 5/5
::SPOILER:: well it is a nice game with a nice concept. though there aresome flaws like jumping to death after turning left at the beginning of tutorial with enough jump power or creating each time a new item when you open any item containing chest. i dont need to buy potions i can get the one from the chest 10 times in a row. there is also a flaw in the torture room. just stand on the very right till it is over.
i did just beat this game. it has a very good nightmare feeling and i creeped at the long hallway after the num pad while reminding the previous part. i wonder if there is any easter egg or different ending if you place the teddy upon the correct bed. oh and lol about the 'Battery used Elevator'. the only bad thing was that i cant play just anything at the pressure plate or fill anything in the bag.
the first bug was while defining keys: i never was able to define again keys without loading after i clicked a button with mouse and while it expects me to insert a key i clicked at multiplayer.
