after all i got these different ways home yet, but all resulted in the same way. 1) Just passing statuas, kill a few people leave statuas out. 2) reach the laser thingy without killing any humans but all statuas (the guy sais thank you, but the ending remains the same). 3) after seeing the mirror guy i guessed it could be that he likes the skeleton statuas anyhow, so i got to the mirror room without killing anything. but again neither the copying guy's text nor the end changed.
okay, it was try four and five and i figured out how to pass that big gap: :::SPOILER::: when you walk back normally, the idle guy tells you you can run by tabbin a direction a couple of times. with this info you can pass the gap by sprinting, turn around and shoot in the direction where you came from to give an extra boost (it is easy, when you figured it out one time). you get a way with some more undead statuas, but in the end you reach your home deminsion with a creepy demon-thingy that copies you.
now, after my third run, i got to the energy thingy by killing all skull demons (guys with black eyes in the shadow dimension) and let all living guys alive (which was exspecially hard by the jumping living guy where i had to shoot a block). after the last skully died, the guy in the end said Thank you. i looked beyond at that unpassable gap, but it didnt change, so i returned home and all was alive, except the first guy you had to shoot to pass. but why is there still the same ending phrase?
nice game i really enjoyed to play. but for some puzzles i wish i could select a tool by numbers and roll by using the numbers. beside this its a good game that deserves badges :)
okay, i finished the game and readed through the previous comments. it is obviously that there is some kind of surreal element about dave since there is at the one hand the question why people dont see him (first meeting with mr bastard, nate's comment, no registry in the pupil's data, no locker) but there is also on the other side evidence that he is existing (english class test, the fact that kevin did not run away, eventually that strange pc script beside the start button). but i also came to the question: why is there no entry of yourselfe in the pupil's databse? i have another theory about the whole story where the events that happens in the story do not happen in the real time when the protagonist goes to that school. i think about some kind of the film 'Sixth Sense' where the players is living events that happened on a school a longer time ago - in a school that is closed in these days.
so i killed the final boss, kept walking around and found out some stuff: 1) you can kill that boss with water bubbles by standing in the entrance and just keep flooding the floor till the end sequence xD 2) everything seems to be killable. the last enemies can be killed with around level 45-47 (even these boxes and 8-balls-shooters) and that cat is killable with level 97. i reached now level 125 and wonder at what level the *Spikes* are killable? :D 3) the bug with the uncorrect saved & loaded worldmap seems to be affected in squares of (guessing) 5x5 Pixels. maybe there are parts of the chart that overlap or arent savable because of less storage or whatever?
yea, 'bossfight' pff. i just won the Grand Trophy without getting even 1 point dmg and still have my 100% victory rate.... there should be any difficult setting to set the game from 'easy' to 'high'
