Insane mode wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. In fact, it hardly seemed a step up from normal. Regardless, really good gameplay. 5/5
So the developer is dating a musician. I have no evidence of this, besides the fact that some entirely inappropriate song got tacked onto this game. If that's not the case, and he genuinely thought this song would suit the game, then I give up on life. Clearly nothing in the universe can be explained rationally.
Actualy, I was the drummer of this band ("Youmaybe'). And the first part of the game was made after I listened song "Waterfalls". i thought: this song would suit the game with particles, colors and blur. So I quickly made the game "Waterfalls" (within 4 days) and the game got title of the song. Then I made sequels and asked Uliana to record some other of her songs for the next games.
Mechanically there is nothing wrong with it. You just need to make a game with a lot more content (well-executed shmups and platformers are usually a recipe for success).
I agree this game is rather short, that's why I added a few game modes, like difficulty modes and survival mode. My next game will be longer and have more content.
Well I don't study philosophy (the solipsistic man's degree), but somehow I have indeed wrapped my head around Kongregate's tag system. You can sleep soundly knowing that wasn't a direct jab at your game; the rest of my comment was, though. I guess being spoon-fed thimble-deep social commentary works for a lot of people.
Actually i can't see where you perceive all this pretentiousness. It's a game about a relationship, with everything i could do to express it. No pretentiousness whatsoever!
Wow, be more pretentious. "Philosophical" as a tag? Did you study philosophy? Astoundingly self-absorbed piece of work, which is amusing given the premise.
How is this "pre-alpha"? I think you simply enjoy tacking on Greek letters to your builds. Any way, reloading is about as counter-intuitive as it could be without actively bluescreening the computer. Once you go ahead and add that bluescreening feature, I will consider rating this a 3/5.
