@JacobM00 in Options, you can select High Precision Resource Values, which extends the values by one decimal place. It still rounds from there, so it's not entirely accurate, but it'll probably give you a better picture of what you're actually getting. Also, later in the game, there are several upgrades that reduce Hut costs significantly. Since the game's prestige system is driven by population, Huts are kind of a premium building.
@Noontide: Also, each kitten also reduces Happiness (the small orange smiley face at the top middle), which is a global production multiplier. So each kitten not only eats catnip, it slows down catnip production. Later, you can build Amphitheaters which will offset the per-kitten unhappiness penalty... once you can, building about 15-20 of them is a good idea. After that, they suffer significant diminishing returns (and, later, you'll replace them with Towers anyways)
Weirdly addictive, I think because it doesn't require intense concentration. However, Blacksmith Skill and Expertise and Auto-Click speed all cap WAY too early. Maybe price them so they're a bit more spread out, and add a few more levels.
Yeah I don't think I'm built for iron will mode. It requires a tiger-mom level of helicopter attention. If it were faster, maybe, but hours just waiting for an Observe button when you need several is the epitome of all the downsides of this game. Mind you, it's still a great game... it's just IW forces you into all the worst mechanics of it.
@catisfluffy I kind of miss the old shop, too... but this design lets you use the shop without leaving the feature you're doing. So you could be elbow-deep in BA's "Endless Dungeon", pop open the Shop, buy something, and never actually leave BA (so you don't get booted from the Dungeon). It's useful.
Does cyborg have greater performance increases per op for tasks that take longer and cost more points? Or am I going to have to fish up a ton of CP and have him do Triangle Count for the next year just to see a ~2% improvement in his performance?
It currently doesn't, but you brought up a pretty interesting issue. Balancing it is going to be quite difficult though, I suppose. Either the shorter tasks will be "nerfed", or the tasks that take a very long time will receive a massive buff, both of which will have some undesirable results. I'll keep this in mind though!
I've been on every day so far this month, but because, any time I notice the A reminder I'm in the middle of something on AITG and can't stop to reload, I'm three days behind. Not only will my next medal cost me an arm and a leg, but I'm going to miss some very valuable end-of-month rewards.
@Biggums425 there's an entrenched old guard that likes to whoops and holler about the megathread and whatnot. I'd like to use the forums for discussions, and the forums should see more activity, but if there's significant change in the forums these people will get uppity, despite forums existing for just such a purpose. They've kind of stagnated forum discussion, and it's rough to deal with them because they're the ones that know stuff about the game.
(Farnsworth voice) Good news, everybody! I'm apparently losing my mind... coz yup, there's my missing EXPill, but I apparently had something REALLY IMPORTANT in that spot in Storage and I can't for the life of me recall WHAT! XD
Stun lasts way too long. This fact really shines in the Technical Battlefield. Just wayyy too long. Also, did anyone else have their EXPill from last event just poof? Mine is gone... I know where it was in storage and the spot is just empty.
EXPill is not a Battle Arena item, it's in the Simulation Cyborg screen. I'm pretty sure it should still be there. As for stun, the duration was already reduced once in the past (and is now limited to 4 seconds maximum, whereas before you could get stunned for 5+ seconds from certain enemies), but I'll probably look into further reducing it to 3 seconds or something. Will probably require more analysis though. Thanks!
I actually intended to do that in the beginning (instead of the current system)! But then I realized, aside from a few "sets" such as all Demon Slayer weapons, it is not very difficult to collect full sets of things, and making it check for full sets means more calculation has to be done (which means more lag), so I decided to just simplify things by rewarding for each individual item instead! But I'll definitely keep that in mind!
Culture bottleneck turning Parchments into Manuscripts breaks my heart... it'll take me days, perhaps even weeks, to get all this Parchment converted. :(
Missed 20k BP reward because enhancer inventory was full from rebirthing. Yay. Collecting the daily has become so mechanical that I'm just auto-punished for it.
This is not even possible, you can't claim a BP enhancer reward without having an empty enhancer slot. You should instead just see a message saying your inventory is full, and after clearing an inventory slot you should be able to claim the reward again. || EDIT: Acutally, I just went to check it myself and there isn't a 20k BP reward. The reward after 10k requires 50k BP to claim. Sorry for the confusion!
My borg is stuck doing 175 fishing ops when I only needed 75. Now I need him to do a Globawful Arcade task. The persistent "1" in the borg's number of ops window needs to go away.
The joy of answering a bunch of new player questions and missing Corruption by seconds when you REALLY need your rings back. I don't blame the players, I blame Tuk for putting double-whammied zones (timed invites AND limited entries) in the game but not on the map.
