Cute game, but short and not very challenging at all. I'll give it a 3/5 because landing reminds me of an old game I used to play on my Apple IIe (Lunar Lander)
Yeah I'm done... I can't get the cart to stop spinning after I do the loop; it always continues and I land on my back. Controls don't make any sense... I do something once and I get height and spin, I do the same thing again and I get distance but no height. All seems to be luck. If you don't get it, don't burn yerself out trying.
There's no gun. I close the door, turn the tub on, put the paper in the toilet, flush the toilet, click the cabinet, click the outlet, click the sink on, click the alien in the tub to fry it with the hair dryer, then that's it... no gun anywhere in all that. Alien pops up after a few moments and kills human, no badge. What am I missing?
1/5 for how ludicrous accurate the ai is, spawning next to enemies who are ready to gank you, and "friendly" npcs who just run around getting all the weapons and leave you with your pistol. Very one dimensional game with no depth.
Levelling health reduces the damage you take, as does better armor; you get more hearts by finding them in caves and certin shops. Same goes for levelling magic; magic attacks take less to cast. Attack and weapons improve melee damage. Cutybunny and butterfly are one-time encounters by slashing certain bushes in the second world. There are 30 rounds in the arena, and yes you can do it twice to get both prizes. The axes' special abilities can be used to hit 2 or 4 switches if you get between them. EVERY cave and fortress is worth exploring COMPLETELY. Farm bosses for best xp gain. On a personal note, the first time you get 5k gold, I suggest you buy the sword; early on and through most of the game, the best defense is a good offense. Good luck!
My apologies for the typos, I have a nervous disorder and it's effect on my typing causes me to hit some keys twice. Also, this network is monitored 24/7, not 2/7 in my typo below.
Aye, I had a text box pop up saying my computer was infected ith malwarre, I needed to download "Antivir" to get rid of it. As I'm on a work computer in a banking environment and the health of the networkk is monitored 2/7, I highly doubt my machine is infected with anything, and "Antivir" is not part of our system. Perhaps Armor Games needs to screen their ads better, because a similar tactic installed the ransomware/rogue antivirus software "Antivirus Live" on my machine a couple of months ago, which I had to reformat my hdd because no fixes even among the HijackThis crew helped, and I've seen other people give them and similar "companies" money for similar issues with their computer starting with such a dialog box. Maybe some banner currently on Armor is dooing it or something, but, yes, clicking oon Walkthrough started this dialog box activity. Fortunately, security on this network is strong and nothing has managed to install itself on my machine. Watch yourself.
The "Walkthrough" link in the game tried to install ransomware in my computer... you know, software that pretends it's antivirus software but actually just takes control of your computer and won't let you use it until you buy their "product," which is just an activation code to render the software inert until they want more money from you. I've dealt with it before, and, as a fraud analyst, seen others fall victim to similar practices. If you can't make a legitimate game with legitimate links, you get an automatic 1/5, especially if you're not just subjecting me to spam but attempting to commit a crime.
You're supposed to be able too shoot through some walls, the game tells you that if you didn't skip the tutorial. Homing missiles need to get close to the target to see them, so get close to whatever you're trying to hit or just fire them in it's direction so they eventually see it. Remember, people, take yer time at first, and you CAN repeat a mission... any mission... over and over if you want, to help develop your various weapons at the end of each mission!
Just a few notes on stuff since my last post: Survival mode is the big red planet with a circle in the top middle of th map once you unlock it. Controls: I use the arrow keys and mouse, and pinky the space bar when I need it. Not hard, certainly not "awful" if a person with a nervous disorder can do it. I want to remind Dave1004 I told you: when you start, take your time. You'd have more hp if you did. Save your game and hit back on the map screen to see your medals. The hardcore badges are gotten by unlocking the "Hardcore Device" special component, then equipping it when you do levels, it increases your exp gains by 50% but one hit kills you.
Take yer time the first time through, do a story mission then do the side stuff that pops up, open up gear as you get the chance. Many gold stars will require both speed and firepower, so don't try for them and frustrare yourself, just wait till you get the best fast legs, and Homing Rocket Launcher. Homing cluster missiles help too. Don't hold the mouse button down to fire, spam click it to spam fire it faster than the wepon normally fires, just watch overheat. Document collection and destroy buildings requires speed, and destroying EVERYTHING as well as the job, so document collection: collect documents, destroy everything, and do it fast for the gold. Good luck!
Won the first board, got a level, game flickered to the moon background and froze. First. Game. If I could give it a zero stars to drag down the average more, I would. 1/5
Apparently you lose all of yer current xp when you die. Great. Big friggin xp setback on death means farming weak mobs only. No skill/stat point reset either. I was liking this game but it drags too much. I think I'm done here.
I quit playing after about half an hour. I'm stuck in the first area on Challenging, and the Experiment creatures you fight in the first area are a matter of pure luck to beat, no matter how I spec or respec. I die to them entirely too often to make this game fun. The first Sonny was pretty cool, but this is the FF8 to Square/Enix's FF7, too much mechanics and not enough enjoyment. I won't be getting these badges.
Odd... I got 309k after I sold all my trophies, govt only took 6k in taxes. Win! BTW, develop yer gas, hull str and drill str, worry about radar and steering later. Go as deep as you can, only changing course a lil here and there to get coins. Aim for the trophies for depth first, and get a mole and some nitro asap. The mole is the key, level or better for collections, you just go as deep as you can then cruise horizontal and use the mole to break rocks and grab treasure. I racked up the sapphire and ruby counts in one "week" (one try), and both diamond counts in one week, doing this, just aim grab aim grab, aim for the further treasuure so the mole grabs both, better moles break bigger rocks, etc. Good luck!
I haven't touched America yet and I have Colonel Sanders, MJ, Ronald McDonald and Tank. All I've done so far is Africa, Mexico, Middle East, India and Indo China. Go figure.
Bloodshatter, they use staples in surgery anyways, and burning the wound cauterizes it, sealing off the blood vessels to help stop bleeding and eliminating imminent infection by destroying microbes in the wound. The pizza cutter is just a wacky choice of cutting tool, altho my pizza cutter is razor sharp and I'd be willing to bet I could open you up surgically with it if I needed to by holding the handle then pinching the blade to keep the blade from spinning. Besides, wth is "bloodshatter" anyways? Blood is a liquid. What, do you take someone's blood, freeze it, then shatter it in front of them for effect? Most foes I know wouldn't wait for you, it sounds like a long, drawn out process.
