What's going on with level 14? I killed all the humans by shooting by either shooting their ropes and letting the fall kill them or head shots without hurting the zombies, but the level won't finish. Was I supposed to kill them a certain way?
Many people may enjoy this game, but I find it difficult and confusing. The hint book is of little help and the player is left to figure out what to do. For example, Freg wants cold chili, which you already find in the refrigerator. What you don't know if you're supposed heat it up on that thing on the table and replace it. There's nothing to tell you're supposed to do this or that this type of interaction is required unless you view the walkthrough Nothing saying that thing is a heater. You collect a bunch of items and then wonder what to do with them. While it may be well drawn, it's a poorly designed game. 1/5 for the art only.
Magicians should have a several seconds delay in creating new walking trees and more vulnerability to air towers given that they and stone towers are the only ones worth a damn in the game.
At least for easy in the Mysterious Woods, use all air towers north of the river and stone towers south of the river except use an air tower in the bottom right corner. Upgrade the last air tower near the monk, the one in the middle river and the right corner ones first before the others and upgrade the stone towers in the bottom center before the others.
So, from what I see, some of the enemy is resistant to certain towers. Which ones, I don't know unless I play the game and barely survive with 3 hearts.
Let's have shields on a few ships, maybe a boss...NOT 50% of balloons on a stage. During the Deep Bloon Sea stages, as soon as I get bronze, I just stop playing out of frustration.
So, I had to quit the second building due to insufficient funds to buy an elevator. Either inform us of this sooner, maybe in the instructions or get rid of it.
So, let me get this straight. My cannon balls can't damage the pirates' ships, are aimed blindly (except for the sniper) and cause little damage to the pirates themselves even if they're hit dead-on or with a headshot (which they immediately recover from), but the pirates' cannon balls can cause 10%+ damage to my fort (which is impossible to repair) and are aim accurately enough to hit my cannon even from a balloon moving up and down.
As with most escape games, one solution only (why can't I use the utility to open the clock) and a click fest. Never found the final candle, opened the clock or what the fish did or meant and I cared less and less as I played.
reloading levels up on use and gets faster.
