Not sure what you mean by "internet app," but I just finished the hard badge on Chrome. Also, don't know if this game is on Kartridge, but I played it on Kongregate.
I'm having a hard time with this one. Every time I exit the game, it erases my data. I have to start over every time. With the amount of grinding required, it will be difficult to finish without having to, say, restart my computer at some point. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution? I couldn't find any way to export my save from within the game.
There are several quality of life things that would be nice: 1. Give us a stats tab. I've gone through many runs and trained multiple successors, but have no way to see what I've accomplished. 2. A pallette upgrade that automatically puts unallocated students into recruiting (should be able to be disabled if desired) and 3. Giving lectures should NOT put students that were in recruiting into the unallocated column. I don't care that you pull the students out of their assigned tasks, but just have the lectures take students from the categories from the top down, in order, so it pulls from recruiting last. Let those students keep right on recruiting unless sent to lecture. Otherwise, I keep having to switch tabs way more than I should have to to keep my students recruiting as I'm giving dozens of lectures.
Salamani, the multi tool does save you money. Imagine that you buy 4 tools. The first tool costs $1, the second $2, and so on, for a total of $10 for the 4 tools. The 5th tool costs $5, for a total of $15 after you buy that one. With Multi Tool at level 3, the 1st - 4th cost $1. The 5th - 8th then cost $5, for a total of $6 for 8 tools instead of the $36 it would be without it. It adds up pretty dramatically.
TheWilMeister, there's no requirement to paint the pics in any particular order, except the first one. Go ahead and paint the ones you don't like first and sell them. :-)
An idea for making the Demon Core powerup useful for late game: Make a set of Prestige upgrades that unlock powerups at the beginning of each run. That way, you could immediately activate Demon Core and let it take care of the first couple of levels while you work on buying balls and upgrades. Otherwise, once you get to the point in the game where you get to level 100 in under a minute, Demon Core is useless and just slows the game down if you accidentally click it.
Dewatiro, if you have the auto-draw feature, you may have gotten the full amount of inspiration but had part of it spent immediately to start a new picture.
I think the poison ball would be better if the blocks it hit were actually "poisoned" and took damage over several seconds. As it is now, I haven't found a good use for it. Not trying to discourage the developer - I am enjoying the game and think it could be even better with a bit of polishing. :-)
After playing for several days, I have a few thoughts, in no particular order: There's currently no point in buying upgrades to increase the balls you can buy beyond 70 or so. With more than that, the lag becomes too great and the tab often crashes. The only powerup that is useful after about 3 runs is the 2x money. It would be good if the others were reworked to make them relevant in late game. Also, while I initially liked the quick progress, I now think it would be better if the gold upgrades were made weaker so that you have to work a bit harder to get to the point where you just start smashing everything. :-) Alternatively, you could make it so you only get gold for a level the first time you beat it. This would reward longer runs, while taking away some of the incentive for very short runs.
Thank you! I've expanded the game in Light The Way 2 which I just released! Fingers crossed on getting a badge!
