Hmmm... I'm wondering what the lights in the sky at night are? They can't be stars, because some of them are located in front of the mountains in the background. It's an interesting planet. I'd like to see more of it... :-)
@RIP48, it doesn't work offline, per se, but it will idle if you leave your computer on with the game in a focused tab. I left for work at level 12 with a few thousand in gold, and came back to nearly 7 million in gold and level 43.
In addition to my earlier suggestions about the map (make signs placed clickable/readable, or let us place labels on the map), it would also be nice if the map were scrollable or click/draggable. I wished for that before, but in the labyrinth it's absolutely necessary. Some of the wyrmholes lead to elsewhere in the labyrinth, or to places near the bottoms of islands, and with the map being static you often have to walk a long way to figure out where you are.
I'm currently exploring the labyrinth with the "wyrmholes". I am placing signs by each one telling where they lead. So far I've found a new island, and a new labyrinth! It would be really nice if I could click on the signs in the map screen and see what they say, or else if I could place labels on the map itself. As it is, I can see where the wyrmholes are, but not where they lead, unless I go all the way to them. This makes them less useful than they would be otherwise.
If you beat the game too soon, it becomes impossible to get the achievement for breaking your record 10 times. The others can all be gotten by turning upgrades off, but not that one. I really don't want to completely restart just for one achievement.
Finally made it. I couldn't get my rockets to fire in my final run, so for me the strategy that worked to get the medium badge was to get the fastest possible launch, then run just ahead of the crowd. There's a spot where the pitchforks just pass harmlessly overhead. I ran straight through the obstacles -- they hurt you less than the pitchforks that hit you if you jump.
The game is fun, but lag is terrible. I seem to get farther when I don't really play, just launch and hope for the best. Maybe on one of these runs I will be lucky enough to finish before the lag gets too bad!
@Super Gamer: The dragons already ARE growable and rideable.
@Dudlivich: Use dragon armor (jetpack probably works as well) and mine into the floating island from the side.
Thought of one more suggestion: I overlooked the ability to craft silicon in the factory because it was just one item in a long list and I saw it as another thing to craft that required silicon, rather than a way to craft silicon itself. It would be nice if the factory options could be sorted like the storehouse -- into weapons, tools, and materials. That would greatly cut down on the confusion for me.
The mining issue is fixed, and I'll upload it soon. For your other suggestions, 1 and 2 are already planned, and 3 is a good idea (organizing the crafting list with tabs)!
In the meantime, I have a couple of quality of life suggestions: 1) Add a "portable generator" that you can craft in the factory. This would let you use power tools on other islands without carrying dozens of batteries with you. 2) It's great that we can transfer directly from the elevator to the warehouse, but please extend that to the boat as well, and also make it possible to transfer directly from the boat to the storehouse on the main island, and to sell items in the market directly from the boat. Making tons of trips back and forth carrying things is not fun. Overall, it's a fun game, and I'm looking forward to getting back into it in the future when I can start mining again! :-)
Ok, so I was able to craft the drill and I mined a whole bunch of diamonds, etc., but then I got greedy and bought a mining speed upgrade. Now my mechanical drill is having similar issues to the wyrm drill. It will mine Main Island stone, but not dirt, and Sunset Haven dirt and sand, but not stone. Looks like until the lag issue is fixed I will probably have to put this game on hold.
How do you get silicon? I'm trying to craft a drill since my wyrm drill won't work until the next update, but I can't seem to find any silicon underground, and the ore trader doesn't have any for sale.
This game is fun, but I've run into a glitch where the prince continually appears and disappears. It's on the "Escape" level. Not sure how to play when I keep blinking in and out of existence! ;-)
This is the second time I've played as far as unlocking the "Something in my Eye" quest without it actually becoming available. I restarted once, but I won't do it again. Too bad, the game was kind of fun for a while...
