DigYourOwnGrave has not only the best name I've ever heard in Flash games, but also the best intro music. Funny though because their games don't really fit the name.
I have played A LOT of MMO's in my life. First I should note that I usually always level up on my own through hard work, but that being said; The trains in this game are to this day, one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Being in one is just...chaotic, and insane, and awesome and. There's just this massive energy of community and help. Just dozens upon dozens upon dozens of people...all running together along one path, killing things, and helping each other out. That's what I find so great, everyone is helping everyone else and you just get this massive sense of the group and actually helping your fellow gamer for once. Amazing, 20/5 game but the last badge needs to be an impossible. All 9 dungeons on one life?! Madness!!
Last night I beat the Easter special at 3:33 am. It is now 3:22 am and I just killed the final boss in this one. This is actually a lot harder than the Easter special, once you reach wave 50. For 50-59, you have to have a fully upgraded Minigun, level 5 assistant, and basically everything else maxed out. There's really no way else to do it. Only thing left now is to collect the last 9 trophies. What a great series.
This game is part of what can make Flash gaming so amazing. By that I mean simplicity. Despite the fact that it's 1 screen, the A button and arrow keys, it manages to be a wonderfully unique and great game. That's how a lot of wiesi's games are. He's really a great dev.
Yep...only took me about 7 minutes to get almost 5,000,000 points. And just like that it's over. What a shame. Really wish it had a hard badge. Amazing series but...sure is a lot of work for a very small amount of play time. Even if you aren't going for badges, there's not much point in doing it more than 2 or 3 times. 5/5 for what there is and I can't wait fr the 4th game.
It's kind of sad. I totally love the last one, and I love this one also. But I know both badges only take less then 10 minutes to get. So...awesome series but, it sucks that I'm only able to play it for such a short amount of time getting the badges.
Really one of my favorite games. Seriously needs a sequel. Biggest tip I have for the medium and hard badges (ESPECIALLY the hard). Raise your loot upgrade above all else. I know that sounds like terrible advice, but trust me. I got the hard badge on my 3rd try (from starting at the very beginning. All my data from before was erased). The 2nd flag upgrade is great because it improves everything. Then focus on speed, and firepower. Also, once you get level 5 on every upgrade, the final boss (both forms) are total cake walk. I could have keep going for hours but I finally stopped when I collected 60,000...dunno why. Just wanted t make sure it would award the badge I guess. 10/5, love this game.
This is a great game. It's nothing groundbreaking and there are similar games like it. But that's ok, not every game needs to be some earth shatteringly new genre. This is a fantastic genre, and this one is very well done. Extremely fun puzzle/platformer. 4.5/5
Wow. I'm really impressed with the people on here. I've had two people now just give me good armor. That's something that never happens in other MMORPGs
Well, it is 3:33 am and I just beat the final boss. I had every single upgrade fully maxed, around 9,500 ammo for the Minigun (fully upgraded), 5,004 for the Steyr AUG (fully upgraded) and fully loaded up with 20 grenades. You can have all this done by 60 no problem. The final fight takes maybe 2, 2 1/2 minutes of constant fire from the Minigun to take him down, if that. The eggs are slow and very easy to hit. So as long as you have every upgrade maxed and plenty of grenades and ammo for your Minigun, you're set. 5/5 and favorited
If anyone is a bit confused on which route to go weapon wise, here's what I've done that is working great. Soon as you can, buy the S&W 9MM. Next go with the MAC -10. Make sure to fully upgrade it. The fully upgraded MAC 10 will be a great defense for awhile. I don't remember which wave it started to become much too weak but it was around wave 20 to 25. You're going to want to upgrade the scavenger to lvl 2. Keep in mind you also need to be buying the other important upgrades also, don't forget them. As soon as you possibly can, buy the Steyr AUG. Despite it's initial low starting power, it's the second best gun, only behind the Minigun, which is 65K. A fully upgraded AUG will totally tear through enemies. It's amazing. Trust me, it's worth saving the 33K for it. After that, well..I'm on Wave 34 now so. Make sure to upgrade the assistant also. I'm about to upgrade him a 3rd time for 16,500. He's crucial.
So...this is an amazing game. But, 1 problem. Why the hell do you have to start all over at lvl 1 when you die? That right there almost ruins one of the best games I've played in awhile. And does this mean I have to get 400 fame, in one run?? That would be nuts.
Wow. It got badges? This game came out awhile ago. By November of last year I gave up on it getting them. Weird that it took 5 months. talk about a delay. Awesome though.
Great game....other then the enemy army being able to spawn tanks/soldiers every single turn. It's a combo of - how long it takes to reach an enemy Warfactory. By the time you can get next to one you've lost almost all your health. Only being able to move or shoot in a turn, which makes everything take forever and severely limits the damage you can do. Then the fact that you need the right unit to attack another unit or else you'll do hardly any damage. Most units can only move to 1/4 of the map, and by then the enemy has the advantage. Most games, you have a set number of enemies to kill. It's BS that they can spawn whatever the hell they want every turn. With how limited you are between being able to do so little in 1 turn and having to have the right unit at the right place, they SHOULD NOT be able to spawn anything, anytime. It makes a great game frustrating as all hell.
Ya know, despite there being a restart button, the hard badge in this one is like 60 times harder than the first. I got the hard badge in 1 within 6 tries. I have been trying on and off for weeks to get this one. It's not just having to do it 2 days quicker, (although that makes it way harder also) it's the damn platforms. It's no exaggeration to say that 85% of them are $0.25, AND there's less of them. What the hell??? I need to do it 2 days quicker..but basically all you're going to give me is 25 cents? Not only do they not launch you very high but, you can hit 20 of them in a row and that will still only get you 5 bucks. Which you can do nothing with. You need around 50, with a good elevation and a long time to even stand any chance of getting there in 3 days.
Ok, why isn't this game popular? Or even known at all. It's in the same style and genre as games like, Vampire Physics, The Zombooka Series, Star Claws, and a shiton of others. It's also just as fun as the popular ones. This is a shame...it's a great game, just as good as popular games that have millions of plays and badges.
CardinalNY...stfu. By you saying all that, he actually achieved exactly what he wanted. No..it's not calling the player stupid, it's making fun of the internet/comments in general. Everything that was said, is usually the exact same stupid thing that someone, somewhere is complaining about. It's a commentary on the internet as a whole. I laughed at almost every one of the comments that popped up because I have seen people doing the same thing. Now stop trying to go all Freudian and trying to act smart on a simple game who's message is clear and doesn't need to be analyzed in any way.
