Goddamn...level 29 was so hard. Finally beat it with Time Stop, Rail Gun and Ricochet. What makes this game so freaking hard is your health...you have so little. I mean...damn, You expect me to kill 2 300 enemies, with projectiles and ships swarming over every inch, each one of them taking almost 1/4 of my life, you could at least upgrade my health. Seriously...why the hell can't you do that? In the later levels you can only take a few hits. Not dying becomes way harder than getting the quotient of kills.
Ok..now I'm even more impressed. The gameplay is incredibly unique, different and amazing. And that..alien thing walking in the background in the forest gives such an incredible atmosphere. This is...damn.
Wow. Just damn. I only just watched the intro but along with Alice Is Dead 3, this has the highest production values of any game. The art is beautiful and the VO's..wow. Seriously...I can't decide if this or AID3 is better. I think they're on the same level for highest production quality, art and VO's I've ever seen. Seriously impressive.
Wait wait wait! Level 3 is the highest level?! Are you f*cking kidding me?? Idk if that's the max level for every unit but what the hell...3 levels?! They're hardly any better than at level 1. Jesus...all the enemies have such an unfair advantage it's like putting Muhammad Ali in a fight against a blind 2 year old who has no arms or legs.
Well, as much as I love the artwork and gameplay, the difficulty is ruining it for me. And it's not exactly that it's a hard game, it's not...it's the enemies and how much of an unfair advantage they have. It seems like they're all so damn strong, and so many of them that you just can't compete. Then the damn Heroes...good god, even on Easy, they take so much to kill and some can heal themselves. The damn Tree Golum...even after 5 minutes of fighting it...it just wipes out all my soldiers...keeps healing itself and by the end he still had 3/4 of his life. Then the enemy guard towers; the arrows wipe out your men so quickly and take so much to destroy AND they start with 3 or 4. But your towers, you have to buy them all, and they get destroyed wayyyy quicker. Finally, it takes so insanely long to upgrade your army. The enemy just has such a massive advantage it's nuts. Ruins the game.
I just came back to this after playing the first one. They improved so much. The first one is still great, but it can't compare to this....it's just such an amazing game. I'm really hoping for a 3rd.
The 2d game is one of my all time favorites. I really...really wish the both hard AND impossible badges didn't have to do with Survival mode. Survival in this series is harder than any game I've ever played. I do not feel like doing that. Why did both badges have to be in Survival mode?
Damn, it took me FOREVER to get 25,000 meters. Way way longer then it should have because I kept just barley missing it for some reason. And once I finally got it..it refuses to award me the badge. Other than that, amazing sequel and I really hope there's a 3rd.

I really think this game is getting too much hate. It's like when a band tries something new with an album; because it's not the same thing as last time, some people start to hate it, then may other have to jump on the bandwagon and hate it too. I will admit it's a sequel in name alone, but..I think I like it so far. The art is so incredibly similar to Kingdom Rush that I really don't think it's coincidence. But, I love the art, so it's a good thing. Hell of a lot better than the last game.
Ok. So. This game has actually grown on me a lot. I don't know why...something about it is just so addicting and fun and I don't know what. However, that doesn't make the hard badge any easier. It is incredibly hard to get 3 stars without just crazy amounts of luck. I think the pars really need to be more lenient compared to how much of a part luck plays in how you do.
Oh. Also, when 2 of the top comments have a -13 rating..and there's only 6 comments in total..you know it's gotta be bad. And yet 10 Favorited it...ok..I'm gunna go somewhere on the site that not void of all life. I feel like this is the middle of the Kongregate Saraha, no signs of life anywhere.
