Just defeated Catgod. Wow is all I can say. I put as many hours into it as some console games. This is as good as a Flash RPG can get. You're going to want to save almost every item, especially Pizza, Coffe and Watermelons, that you get for the final battle because it's a hell of a fight. 1 extremely powerful boss..followed by an even more powerful one..followed by both at the same time.
Wow. I finally finished off the final boss with only Matt alive with 98 HP. Lance is one hell of a boss. Insane amounts of HP and stupidly powerful allies that just keep coming and coming and coming and coming....
The Impossible would be sooo much better if you didn't have to beat the level at the same time you got the bandage. It's infuriating when you get a difficult to reach bandage and then get killed by am impossible level. That fact takes getting all the bandages from a difficult task to just hell.
Not a bad game overall. There's a few parts where I had no idea what to do because what I needed to be doing was in some place I'd already been that changed but nothing too bad. The biggest problem is the text. Like others have said, it goes so.f*cking.slow. It's a nightmare to have to sit through. Especially when you have to talk to someone again.
Holy shit the bosses are so overpowered. You go through 10 areas on one lifebar..then hit the boss who has literally 10x as much health as you and who's attacks decimate your whole party, then you die and gain basically nothing. Bosses shouldn't be this strong this early on. This is ridiculous.
I have to have materials to buy from a shop..? What the hell. Imagine if that's how it was in real life. "Yea, can I get a cheeseburger and a large fry?" "That will be $7.50, 1 pound of beef and 6 potatoes, please drive around"
Ok..well I did enjoy the game. Those catapults that start in Act 2 ruin things. They're wayy overpowered. 1 shot takes out entire row of my army. I get killed before I can reach them. And the only way of making your army stronger is replaying missions to get a measly 200 gold so you can buy starter packs which have only a few items in them. It's a great game but if you get stuck it's incredibly hard to get strong enough to get unstuck. You really need to be able to earn more gold from replaying levels or have a way to gain new soldiers/equipment without having to beat the current level.
