Made it to level 5 and decided to do the much easier task of preforming open heart surgery with a scalpel of play doh and my hands smeared in Vaseline. It actually would be a pretty good game if every move you made wasn't so damn delayed.
Just finished the game. The easiest way to get through it is Lightning and Saws. 2 Saws and 3 Lightning of each side is the best configuration I've found. You can also use 3 Lightning, 1 saw and 1 Heavygun; Heavyguns can deal some serious damage once upgraded. For the most part though Saw/Lightning.
So far this is a fantastic TD game. Having just 1 tower with enemies coming from 2 sides allows you to focus much more than when you have towers spread all over the place. The weapons are good, prices are fair and the style is unique. Loving it so far. The only issue I have is the reloading. It sucks to have to have a gun out of commission when you have so few on a side. 4.5/5
I think 16 levels was wayy too much. It get's very repetitive. And the dialogue/story is so bad I ended up just skipping all cutscenes. Not a bad game, but I hope things are improved for the next one.
You think you made the story mode long enough?? It just keeps going on and on and on and.....all the enjoyment is sucked away at about 25%. I loved the first. But the sheer length, amount of grinding, clingers and unfair difficulty just makes this entire game a massive headache.
Oh mannn..finally. Some Hard badges you have to really work for..but that one you have to grind like hell for....and then grind for a few more hours. That's a well earned 30 points. I really expected more from you ninja kiwi..you've turned into real money grubbers. 1/5
So getting over half of the bloons in a stage isn't even enough for a damn bronze? Jesus. I'm stuck on this stage because going back and replaying levels is so un productive and takes hours to get enough cash. Seriously..3,312 out of 6,000 popped isn't enough to simply pass the level?? Come on.
I actually liked the first better. This one involves a lot more grinding. You get very little RP and things are expensive. It also seems like zombies get on the hood much more often, which takes a lot of ammo to get off. Then anytime you stop for ammo you end up very exposed and if you move the slightest bit, it cancels the pickup.
Good lord...finally..level 50. Tip: Power attacking the first boss with give you 32 to 40 xp..this is massively helpful. Upgrade just energy until maybe level 20 and then balance it between stamina and energy. So glad I never have to touch this POS again.
...I just realized this is called Mob Wars..not Mafia. Come on Kong...you're back to this shit..seriously? ....SERIOUSLY?! I thought we were past the money grubbing energy bar phase. *Sigh...fine..I'll suffer for the badges. ....Wait, I've been scrolling down for 5 minutes and I'm still not to the comments.....son of a..
We are indeed Mob Wars and are sorry that our game isn't your thing, but we do thank you for giving it a try! Lots of people do enjoy the game and hopefully you will give it a chance and see what they like!
Hey, at least you got the badges! Congrats! :)
