It would really help if he wasn't a ragdoll. He flops all over the place so even if you're not below a spike, his limbs flail all over the place and gets caught by one no matter what.
Oh...but if you lose all your lives you have to start from the very....very beginning. THAT, is BS. The bullets are moving just under the speed of light, and they're flying in every possible direction so of course you going to get hit. At least start me at the beginning of the stage..not make me do the entire game over.
Are you kidding me??? Who's brilliant idea was it to put a giant swamp at the very end that you can't get across without flight?? Unless you've gotten that far, you won't know that you need to save one of your flights for that. Super unfair. I still enjoy this game and applaud it's originality but damn, that hard badge is going to take some time.
Well, I sure have to give it to you. This is original. It's surprisingly hard too.Took me awhile to figure out what was going on or how to get the hard badge but..yea, very unique. It is getting a bit tedious having to do the same thing over and over, it's all about memorization. But..it's something very new and it is fun so, overall, nice job.
Good god. I haven't even started playing and I'm already confused to hell. This really seems like a game that should not have badges. Eh, who knows, maybe it'll turn out good
I just absolutely love this series. It's just so fun and addicting. More importantly though, it has made me 10,000,000,000,000,000 times better at bullet hell games. Before I started playing the Frantic games I'd be lucky if I could get through Episode 1. I'm far far from the best, but still, these games has increased my bullet hell skill so incredibly much. My only complaint is that even though the song for this game is possibly the coolest, most kickass I've ever heard in a Flash, it does start wearing on you quickly since it's the same song repeated over and over and over through the entire game. Damn amazing job on this game polymerrabbit. I'm dying for a sequel..this is one is pretty old so...idk, but I need a Frantic 3!
Dammit. What the hell happens. I don't know what it's at but one wave everything is going fine..then the next, everything is surviving 4 fully upgraded rocket launchers, 3 fully upgraded lasers, and 2 turrets. Their health just suddenly shoots through the damn roof and they turn into Zues'. I mean really, 4 completely upgraded rockets, 3 completely upgraded lasers and 2 turrets isn't enough?? So now I only got 700 kills, 1300 away from the badge. This, this right here is why I don't like TD games. They are ALL the same. Everything is going fine one minute, then suddenly the next wave turns invincible and just like that all your hard work and time is for nothing.. It happens in EVERY TD game.
That hard badge would be a whole hell of a lot less frustrating it those damn curves weren't there. Lots of times the turns are just plain too sharp and you have to lift your mouse up to turn anymore. but there's no times for that before you smack into something.
I don't know why I like this game so much. It's incredibly simple and plain, but it's just so addicting. It'd be nice if the medium was a hard badge, because it is going to take some time to get every achievement. Still a great game.
I really....really.....REALLY F&%#(*& hate those super short sections of track. Once again..I make it past 13,000 and 3 of them in a row. Once you're that far, you're going so fast it's incredibly hard to land on consecutive short sections. Once you reach like 10,000 the short sections should just stop appearing. I still love this game and will get that badge...but damn you short platforms!
Alright. Just beat level 10. Like I said, I'm not very good at bullet hell games, but this, actually made me a lot better. I'm way better at spotting gaps to get through, and generally getting hit less. I still can't even come close to getting the impossible badge, but I am now better at bullet hell games, thanks Frantic! Honestly I can't imagine how anyone has managed to get through all 10 levels without taking a single hit..that is mindblowing.
BADGE GUIDE: From the start, save up for the Ak-47, then the M-16. Once you have the M-16, that should be enough to keep to you safe enough until you save up 6000 for the mini gun. The Mini Gun is reallly THE only way to reach the end without dying or tearing your hair out. Skills; They are all really important but how I did it that worked well was. 1. Health. 2. Reload speed, 3. Money, 4. Experience, 5, Repair. You don't have to upgrade them in that order, but it worked well for me. Finally, ALWAYS, I mean always, be watching your health. On the later waves (20's-the 40s) your health will be going down constantly. After you've purchased the mini gun, spend all your money on Med kits. You'll be using them every 10 to 30 seconds once you get far enough. Once you have the 3rd money upgrade (or even the 2nd) you will have more than enough cash from killing zombies to be able to buy as many med kits as you need, whenever you need them. Follow these rules and you should have it.
Oh, I forgot to mention. Make sure you have 3 groupies in your cart when going for the 50K. They more than double your score so getting it without them...will be incredibly hard. Your points multiple by 2.4 when you have 3 groupies. If you crash, make sure to buy the three back for every 50K attempt.
Ok, I finally just finished up getting every badge. Here's a few tips that had I known, it would have saved me a lot of time. To trigger the worm fight, you need to buy the dumpster plus bat. Jump like normal then do a Dumpster dive, you'll dive underground. To beat the worm just use the bat to hit the bombs he drops back at him. To get to monkey to appear, you have to buy the golden cart and hanglider. Jump and press up down up to activate it. For awhile I thought you could only hit the bombs at him, but use the bat to hit the bananas he throws at you, back into the balloon. For the 50K points. The pole vault will be key. Make sure you do multiple tricks then use the hang glider and handstand. So it should be something like Handstand x 6, when you glide to the ground, pole vault as many times as you can and do tricks while in the air. hope this helps.
I also have to laugh at the rating. 2.85. Probably the lowest rated game with a badge I've ever seen...one of the mods must have owed the developer a favor or something.
Really. How the hell did this get a badge? It's just terrible...I mean...ok it's not that bad, it has the start to a good game. But the upgrades are insane. 100 to heal me 10? And wouldn't you think upgrading your maxium health would also refill my life? No..it just makes the bar bigger and you're never going to have enough money to fill it up, so upgrading max health is totally useless...even upgrading your gun is worthless. I upgraded it 4 times, and it still took the same amount of hits to kill everything as it did at level 1. W/e, I got the badge, I can be done with this. It could have been good..but it's just...not.
I've always loved this series but getting perfects is one of the most frustrating things ever. You have to be completely perfect,it doesn't matter if you hit every single note, if you're off by a fraction of a second on a single note, the whole song's over. I got every single note of the song...except the very last one, I missed it by like a 1/4 of a second. It's like..."come on, you know I earned that shit". Ah well, still a great series.
