Although...I do have to say this is one of the harder BH games. It's a lot harder than the Frantic series, Bullet Audusy and Boss Battle (though, that last one is pretty damn hard when on hard mode too.) I realize it's not THE hardest, but certainly up there.
I love this game, but my main huge problem with it, is that touching enemies hurts you. In most other bullet hell games, you just have to dodge the bullets, not the enemies themselves. And most enemies in the game are quite large in comparison to you, so dodging the bullets AND every enemy, makes it much harder than it should be. The other thing is my movement is so slow..I know I need to upgrade it, but it still seems like I'm flying through molasses. Other than those things, it's a great BH game.
Well, I'm slightly sad that the journey is over. Just beat all levels and every challenge. It's been a damn fun ride and this is a truly amazing game. 6/5. Cannot wait for VU 2.
I just love this game. It's like The Final Death Wish, but improved. For all the people complaining about the Premium content. NONE of it is crucial to either the game, or badges. You can complete both without buying a thing. And what PC there is, is cheap. You can buy all guns for 60 kreds, all relics for 25, and everything, every weapons, relic etc etc for 100. That's a good deal. And since you don't need to buy anything, just shut the hell up.
I absolutely HATE Madagascar. I missed getting the impossible badge by 1 damn day. That stupid country is almost impossible to infect. 1 damn shipyard and they close down quickly. It's like you have to start in Madagascar to have any chance.
I finally made it. Took me way longer than I thought it would, but I finally made it 16,000 meters. The short platforms are the biggest obstacle. All I can say is once you reach around 8 to 10,000, jump the second you see a short platform. The quicker you jump, the higher the chance of you landing on it. Other than that, just keep trying and trying until you get it. I can't tell you how many times I made it to 13,000+ just to fall off. You'll get it eventually.
This could have been an interesting game, but two things totally and completely ruin it. First, is the damn brightness....why in the hell did they have to make the planets so incredibly bright??I had a headache after 10 minutes and it took me about 30 to beat it. 2nd, these are possibly the worst controls in any flash game ever made. It is so freaking hard to get anywhere. I kept loosing my momentum and falling down, or just twisting all over it took me a good 10 minutes to get out from inside that planet with the crystals....the navigation in this game is horrendous, absolute horrible. Coulda been good...but headache inducing graphics and horrible, horrible, horrible....terrible controls ruined it for me. Sorry, I know I'll get - for this.
Alright, I've played this enough now to give my opinion. It really should have just been called The Final Death Wish 2, because everything is incredibly similar. The funny conversations. Controls, enemies, missions, the challenges. Everything is just like it. But, I'm not complaining. I loved TFDW and I love this too. 5/5...although some of the challenges annoy me.
Haha. I was going to say that this really really reminds me of The Final Death Wish...then I looked at the developer. Fun so far. It's a lot like TFDW, but i can see why.
FINALLY!!! After countless tries I finally have it. I always thought by "without losing any pigs", they meant you had to get all six to the finish, I guess it didn't. But I got all 6 to the end anyways. I mean I had every inch of the whole game memorized from so many playthroughs, but I always just barley got hit by something..usually the wolves in the vans. I got hit twice by the aliens at the very end, but luckily I had taken no hits before that so i made it...damn it feels good to have finally gotten that badge. For anyone who's still trying to get it, all I can say is play until you have every platform, every enemy, every single one of your jumps and all your paths mapped out. Then it's just a matter of being able to put it all together in a flawless run. Good luck.
Damn, finally managed to get 154,452. It was so nerve wracking watching it tally up my score. I honestly don't have any good advice for this badge. Every hole is so different and the most minute, tiniest different in direction or force can make a huge difference. Just keep practicing until you can judge the proper force and direction well enough on each hole. I know it's frustrating as hell doing all 18 holes..watching that score go up..and see it stop short of 145,000. Been there. Besides that being a really hard badge..this is an incredible game...artistically, visually, it's just beautiful and creative as all hell.
ItIsDone, there is a speed up option. It's those 3 circles next to the pause button. The first one is normal time, the 2nd makes time go quicker and the 3rd..well..even quicker than the 2nd.
I swear...that hard badge just drives me more insane everyday. I have every part of the entire game memorized, but still, I always just barley get hit by those damn wolves that come out of vans. Their pattern is the same every time but it's hard as hell to avoid all 3 vans with how the wolves are spaced apart at such weird distances, especially the 3rd van where you have to jump over the wolves, but not high enough to get caught by the birds. And this is all if you've manged to have a perfect run and not just barley hit a damn bear trap. This hard badge is in my top 5 badges that have driven me insane. So damn close.
I love this game..but why,oh why did there need to be a 2nd form? I've never played this and I just somehow knew that killing him once wouldn't be enough.
This is a really fun game that totally and completely takes me back to when I was like 16, playing Halo with 2 linked Xbox's. I know I've said that before, but this game just feels so much like Halo or other multi player console games, it's just a very nostalgic feeling. I really wish completing the Human campaign earned you a hard badge though, simply because it does take quite a lot of time to finish all 15 mission for a medium badge. That's only 1 point for every level you beat.
A tip for getting the Feat Frantic Badge, or anything in the game at all really: You can change the background to black, and there are options to make the enemy bullets more visible in the options menu. It makes it much much easier to see and avoid the bullets with a black background. Plus it's a lot less harsh on your eyes. And yea, I want a Frantic 3 also but Polymerrrabbit seems to have vanished. His blog hasn't been updated in about 3 years now.
Just came back to get the hard badge. For everyone trying for it, in order, the guns you want to buy are: Desert Eagle, AK-47, M16, and then the all powerful Gatling Gun. The rest of your money, save for health and ammo when you can buy it. There are a few levels that just have simple penguins later on which I consider free levels. Try to conserve your ammo, unless you know you're hitting something, don't be shooting. You can farm for ammo and money on the 2nd level boss. He'll drop Ammo, then health, then money. You get 500 dollars for every one you pick up. Use this to save up a ton of money and buy the Gatling Gun and it's upgrades early. Don't waste your money on the Rocket launcher or chainsaw. the RL does good damage but fires too slowly and you'll take out enemies much quicker with the GG. The chainsaw, you have to be right up against the enemy and end up taking tons of damage. Hope these things help you with the badge. Fantastic game.
That hard badge is driving me freaking insane. It's just so easy to make one small mistake and your whole run is ruined. Even with everything memorized...it's hard as hell to not take any hits. It's becoming personal with this badge now.
