Published with permission of 2dboy (creators of World of Goo). So it uses the same concept and basic gameplay... big deal. So do all RTS, FPS, and similar games. It is fun and free. I imagine they allowed this because they figured anyone that likes this will go check out and maybe buy WoG.
Very fun game, but there is a big problem that the time until the next wave continues to advance while the game is paused (though only up until the next wave, after that it pauses properly). This is really annoying since the capture times don't also go up or anything else, so it can be easy to get hit with a huge swarm if your switching to other stuff fairly often and pausing alot.
To those who think that the game is too hard.. just buy the laser cannons and go take a nap. To those who think that the game is too easy.. just don't buy the laser cannons and have some fun. I've gotten to day 12 using nothing but Machine Guns so far. Much more entertaining. Beaten it with only MGs and Rockets.
I'm having alot of trouble with the colors part, not because I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do, but because I'm color-blind and so can't tell the difference between the green, yellow, and orange. Something to make the quest more doable for color-blind people would be great.
Took a while for me to get past the squirrel one even after I had it just because I didn't realize I had to move to a spesific spot. Also "The hole door puzzle was a little flawed since dolphins and mice are grouped with unlike species. Mice were grouped with marsupials and dolphins were grouped with fish." The mouse is one of those australian things that look like mice, but are marsupials, so that is right, and the dolphin is a sea bass or something similar, so the puzzle is quite correct.
The story is really hard to follow thanks to most of the little speech bubbles disappearing before I'm halfway through them. Given that your fighting and trying to read, having them up for longer and perhaps needing to push a button to continue them would be good. Normal was a bit too easy though, maybe I'll try hard later.
Required a bit too much searching around for the objects you needed. The rock in the park and the man in the white shirt where both exceedingly difficult to locate, and weren't obviously something that was going to cause an affect of any kind. Same with the lightbulb on the guard when the gun was already sitting there. A slight tilt and it could have shot him in the back of the head.
