No. Absolutely no. I can't stand games that not only insta-fail you if you can't complete something in time, but that run at super fast speed and you can't do anything about it. I want to look around, not panic and blindly click as I try to figure out the game. 1/5.
You know what'd be great? If I had any control whatsoever over the game. 1 path, soldiers don't listen they just move forward when a trench is full, and it's basically pure rng on how a battle vs entrenched turns out even uses stuff supposedly good against it. I watched 4 assault teams die to 3 normal riflemen because their guns apparently do nothing and they kept throwing grenades into the wrong spot. 2/5, the game is basically pointless to play.
Except for the last level, this was far better than the previous game. The levels had a particular trick that you had to figure out and weren't tedious to complete afterwards. Several types of puzzles repeated, but they weren't too bad. 3/5
I was going to give this game a 2/5. Then I reached level 25. Now it gets a 1/5. The entire game is annoying and frustrating and often tedious. Not fun to play, puzzles are not interesting, and several repeat just with harder modes.
Longest and most boring medium badge ever. The game is trivially easy (9+ lives and 50+ potions? I can just sit in front of a boss for an hour and be fine). All the enemies are pathetically weak, can 1 shot anything with bombs, enemies are recycled, environment causes basically no damage, and you've got way more health than needed. Having to replay the levels for the gems is annoying, and the game is so unnecessarily long. 2/5
To get a perfect on level 8, fly downward into the bottom fan through that tunnel and keep holding down. You need your downward momentum to mostly counteract the fan pushing you upward. If you hit the bottom, you were going down too fast. If you hit the top, you weren't going down fast enough. There's a fairly wide window of acceptable downward speed, so it shouldn't take more than a few tries.
1) Why does every game with wall jumping make you hold the move direction against the wall? The whole purpose of wall jumping is to jump AWAY from the wall. Make a separate key for wall jumps when you're against the wall, and make holding the direction cling to the wall so you fall slower. Jeez. 2) Coins that come from killing/destroying things need to appear instantly, not after a delay. 3) Let us pick our own controls. I do not want to use space to jump. 4) Restarts shouldn't count as deaths (not that it matters). 5) Show a timer for the yellow birds.
Aside from those issues, the game is pretty solid. 4/5
Level e stands for EVIL. The game is simple but good, although first time through it feels more like trial and error as you get past one obstacle and ram into the next as it catches you off guard. The keyboard controls aren't too bad either, though that's due more to the mouse controls being worse than they should. 3/5
Simple and easy. The only "challenge" is a ~0.3 second delay in time stop activation. Player acceleration feels way too sudden and makes gameplay oversensitive, but movement is fluid so it's not much of an issue. Also is it just me or is this game a metaphor for the brain ceasing to work after death? 3/5
Good game, bad controls. Rotation of view should be through wasd keys, and there needs to be a zoom in/out. Having to toggle between dragging to change views and to move pieces becomes obnoxious very quickly and breaks up your ability to fluidly examine the piece and test movements. 3/5
This game is hard solely because the game creator doesn't understand how to program acceleration consistently. You ramp up to max speed instantaneously on the ground, but don't slow down when you hold the other direction until you abruptly come to a halt. It's like playing with programmed lag. 2/5
Oh my god this game is so annoying. You walk uber slow, the controls are bad, and it's trial and error. I was groaning through this whole game just wanting it to be over. Ugh. 1/5
Things to know about this game: 1) TORs are the best ground unit. 2) Max archers, only they can hit air. 3) Wave counter is misleading, multiple waves get sent at once all the time. 4) Replaying levels eventually decreases resources gained on win. 5) Refresh the page when it starts running slower. 6) Upgrade melee structures at chokepoints, don't bother upgrading archers just build them all over. 7) When a town is attacked, pay to defend it, or you'll lose a lot of resources in the long run when it fails.
The game is too easy. I didn't lose a single star the entire game. The majority of upgrades are obviously inferior to others, and unlimited teleports makes it way to easy to money stall/teleport around. Overall it's a pretty good game, but I feel like there's some balance issues that need to be addressed. 3/5
The screen is way too wobbly. I feel like I'm fighting the game just to control where I go and what I do because it's constantly moving around. It should either be focused on the player or have a separate key to change, not just wobble around the whole time.
The only good part about this game is that it's short. I do not understand what anyone likes about clicking randomly around the world to try and find/use items of obscure interest to do things in an unpredictable manner. It's just annoying. 1/5
To all those who downvoted my earlier comment saying you don't get anywhere unless you actively play, here I am again 12 hours later to check in. I "idle" gathered enough souls for about 3 minutes worth of active play.
Idle games are never actually able to be idled for any significant purpose.
