Like pretty much all idle games, there's not any idling if you want to get anywhere. You have to active play to make any noticeable progress. Also, in terms of what you personally can do in this game, there's basically nothing. 2/5
This game is straight up 2D discount ripoff Kingdom Rush. Published two years afterwards, has all the exact same types of towers/enemies just renamed, hero that you move around which looks similar, etc.
A lot of the levels are tedious to beat in that things have to go precisely correct. Level 20 is a good example of this. The flying vampire has to bounce exactly where it should, and if it doesn't, restart. Or you can leave it running for 5 minutes and hope it eventually bounces to the guy at the end of the tunnel. Besides that it's an okay game. 3/5
Your penguins are stupid and run into barriers. No explanation on what the various stats do. Mouse over to collect money is always bad. Miss. Miss. Miss. Miss. Miss. Miss. Miss. Miss. The game is basically pure luck with a lot of grinding and an idle simulator because you can't really control anything that happens. 2/5
Horizontal movement is frustratingly slow. Waiting for enemies to move out of the way vertically is annoying. Rocketing horizontally doesn't let you move to objects of equal height, and designing a boss that the only way to fight it is by safespotting is not great. Still, it's a decent quick platforming game. 3/5
This pos game is too laggy such that you often fall to your death because it won't jump, and it's super grindy for no reason. You can't tell what the equipment bonuses are before they're on, and the treasure chests often troll you by being empty. There's also trap buttons that open new pages which are spammed all over the place. 1/5
Exceptionally boring. The sugar takes forever to move, you need more of it than is reasonable to prove that you've setup the area to move the sugar around properly, and all the levels feel like repetitions of themselves. The problem with being unable to erase is if you clip the edge of the game window it "holds down" the mouse and you instantly draw a line across the entire game when you move, thinking you're not holding down the mouse. Overall not fun to play. 1/5
You go until you misclick and the area instantly vanishes so you "die". The game really has nothing more to it than clicking a bunch and getting somewhat lucky. 1/5
I wanted to like this game, but honestly, I can't. I didn't feel like I understood what was happening the whole time. Every level was the same layout, I ran around spamming clicks, and everything died. There wasn't any challenge or thought, and by the end I still didn't know how half the game worked. The enemies repeated, the floors repeated, and you just mow them down ... not really anything good about this game except for the aesthetics. Controls were confusing at first because everything is with left click. Just felt empty and rather pointless since there wasn't any challenge. 2/5
The game is way too hard, and the reasons it's hard are bad game design. The constant spinning/switching of direction serves only to confuse the player, it doesn't actually affect anything. The other part is usage of arrow keys which are oversensitive and also limit movement speed make you have very narrow windows to respond and make it easy to over-respond short movements. These combined make the game basically unwinnable. For such a simple game, the key mechanics being bad make the entire game bad. 1/5
It's a really good game overall. Levels are decently challenging without being punitive, there's enough ammo if you use it efficiently and not enough if you don't, and enemies don't feel too weak or too strong. I'd say the biggest flaws are the amount of ground clutter that gets in your way, the "speed up" in movement, being unable to attack when things are attacking you, and a lack of enemy diversity. You spend the entire game killing the little ones and the main crawlers, with only an occasional shadow guy or spitter. Story is interesting and kept me playing. 4/5
The game is exceptionally grindy as many comments have noted. After clearing the first area you run into a huge wall that feels insurmountable. This is mainly due to the reliance on hitting to keep your person aloft, as even with max reduction upgrades you lose 1/2 of your speed every time you hit the ground. Some things that the game also doesn't make clear. 1) Ultimate smash adds to your speed, doesn't reset it. Use it asap. 2) "Teammates" are unlocked by getting gold on challenges, not leveling up the various hitters. 3) You need to leave the shop menu to change what equipment is currently being used. Overall it's not a bad game, just could use a bit of adjustment. 3/5
Super slippery and level 15 (robo church) is flat out impossible. The long levels are super tedious with mis-sized hitboxes killing you and then having to restart from the beginning. Not that fun, and gets old very fast. 2/5
The game has serious balance issues. Infinite range projectiles make ranged attacks by far the best thing as you can just spam them across the map. Equipment feels like two steps forward and one step back. The levels are all extremely easy. Also, since level up is based on kills, playing as the medic isn't viable. Instant respawning makes it a trivial annoyance when you die. Aside from the gameplay issues, giving your people equipment is extremely tedious. Not a well polished game at all. 2/5
The most frustrating part of this game is that it's basically only three levels. You keep completing the same level over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over (I'm not exaggerating, there's 40 levels, ~two rooms are 30 of them). Every time you get through an obstacle is added or slightly changed. Just ... annoying. The jumping is also wonky in some way, oversensitive I guess, and you're a bit slippy. 2/5
Terrible, terrible game. The whole time you spend listening to the guy telling you to move, even when he just told you to stop, the accuracy/damage of things is super off, you don't get anywhere near enough points for upgrades, no indicator on how much hp is left, and it's the same thing for who knows how long. 1/5. Basically unplayable.
