Nice shooter. The enemy bullets blend in too well with the background, especially the smaller ones, while your own shots are easy to see. Swapping their colors or doing something else to make the enemy bullets stand out would make the game feel more fair.
Framerate was low in places. Had to triple-click to trigger the charge attack, which seems excessive.
Solarmax is actually very different from most games of this type. Usually they devolve into quickly targeting all of the computer's weak points faster than it attacks yours. You can often gain an edge by attacking the computer on a freshly colonized world. That doesn't happen here, thanks to attritionless colonization, the dynamic wait times, and the special structures. Very well thought out game that adds real strategy to this genre.
A dark and sobering meditation on the dark underside of the Socialist dream. Must we vanish among the grey masses to preserve our humanity? Is winning glory for the Motherland worth the lives of our innocent comrades? Are we no better than a pack of dogs? Ah, a tear falls.
Nice casual game. Upgrade points aren't a grind. Climbing high and building multipliers depends too much on luck. Larger field of view would improve the game.
Bullets hitting only the crosshair is unintuitive but very helpful for shooting barrels. Character maneuvers so slowly that picking up antidotes or anything else is luck rather than skill. If you miss a pickup head-on, it's gone.
