Why the hell is the option to mute placed after the loud intro? Great idea, should be in every game, but what's the point when you still end up with the intro noise?
Hmm. Pretty boring, sadly. And pause is broken, especially in relation to the fire upgrade. Fire-infected things will get DOT while the game is paused or so it appears. Too long between upgrades in story mode.
Noticed a bug that only cropped up once so far, since recent changes. The tunnel ahead of me seemed to change from one obstacle to another, when I got closer. Was near the start at relatively low speed. Still an awesome game, I love seeing it change subtly as time goes on.
Never seen such sloppy basic controls. This game is just a rehash of every random flash platformer mechanic I've seen, executed less well than things that have come before it. Boring, too easy, unattractive. 2/5.
Noticed two weird things xD. If you do a 360 degree turn, the red wall of death appears in front of you, in the normal direction of travel. Also, I had bits from another tunnel (apparently?) overlapping into the tunnel I was actually flying through. Only happened once though.
Too slow to be enjoyable on any level. Too little work gone into this, it's a poor re-skin of a game that wasn't that exciting in the first place. 2/5.
Seconding comments regarding more expensive hats. Should also be achievement related hats, e.g., one you can only get by being top of the highscores, or by running 3000 meters, etc etc..
This is a very good game, despite the fiddly wall-jumping. But interspersing vaguely-relevant, poignant-seeming platitudes between levels doesn't make a game 'meaningful', or 'art'.
