3rd area is brutal. everything aggros except for the 'boss' monster and you can get swarmed easily. I just find a spot that's blocked on 3 sides and wedge myself in. When I kill something, I let the loot block the way so I can heal up.
How strange, I can't buy the light armor. I have enough money and I even bought the leather to see a 'level upgrade' but nothing. Guess some quest later on will activate the gear.
I didn't get the Questaway badge doing quests 1 at a time. A second playthrough, where I did them all at once, gave it to me when I picked up the rewards 5 times in succession. To go to a new area, go to town and open the map screen.
How to collect characters easily. 1. defeat blue dragon. 2. hatch blue egg and raise it to blue dragon. 3. enter a level and hit esc. 4. change character and DO NOT MOVE THE MOUSE. 5. reselect dragon (the level changed). 6. click mouse w/out opening pause menu (you're back in change character. 7. repeat as often as possible until all characters are unlocked. Does not work on final boss to unlock boss monsters.
To new gamers, look up the wiki and choose the class/season that are fast. Research, because there's no FREE job changing like in the first game. You are basically stuck until you slowly earn gold, finish a level 100 quest, or spend kreds.
Small maps: the chokepoints help but shouldn't have to be a requirement to win. Would love if rapidfire and multishot stacked. Bigger maps and more spread out zombies would be a plus. Oh, most important: 16 directional firing or any firing that's more than 8 directions would be very nice.
Um... could you add a stop button? I got like 20 turtles stuck in the ceiling between 2 buzzsaws. I now have 400k in 20minutes, but.... I want to record my progress for that medium badge. XD
Beating 25 w/out clock reset. In 24, I was still able to move around while the right-click menu was up. So turn on secret door in 24, right click again, move character into exit. When 25 loads up, your mouse menu should still be up. Just click the secret door option.
Odd, I got the super combo award WITH the help of the swarm. Just have to stand outside and fire bananas into the hole so that the swarm's health bar doesn't appear.
Wow, I just beat level 30 without touching the big wheel or any of the black balls. Also, cannot figure out lvl 21. Ended up nudging him for a long time until he woke up from that.
Love this game, bit of an issue where I would alt+tab to another window and back. A yellow box would appear highlighting the reset button, but I'm glad you put a 'are you sure' button there. Before I noticed it, I typically shot twice and end up resetting my game. :P
Final boss on normal is tough! I had everything going perfectly and then everyone died. My basic strategy that's failing is to ignore the minions. If you kill them, he might pull up something worse like a monolith.
