So don't skip. Just do what I do. Foam at the mouth and collapse speaking in tongues. I got to D level 9 without skips and already finished the 300 (red) diamonds. I think I'll stop there since all I get is a single fixed point for a floor and a rhombus for a ceiling.
nifty tip I picked up from a walkthrough. Reload immediately after each shot for constant shooting with shotguns and rifles. Before, I had a sherif with two shotguns. To buy chickens, there is a little set of numbered tabs on the right side of the Tower menu. Click on '2'.
shop no longer refreshes, but exp% gain from dinner changes. Highest I ever got was 29% but I usually reset if it's lower than 25%. I got level 10 by the 8th day.
If I didn't know any better, I'd swear the golden van at the end actually makes my driving 10x worse. It's as though I can't steer if I'm holding up and auto-gun at the same time. The jet boosters aren't helping much either.
got stuck at chapter2 the first time because I didn't build the second powerplant to trigger the 'research' dialogue. It was a long death after that. At least I got the 300 kills.
You guys need to read my comments. You don't need a blooming wagon to get a vangaurd. just walk ON FOOT between Yorn and Rubix, selling bronze to one, and silver to the other. Get 9000 gold and buy your diamond and cloth in Masthead. Super easy... now if only I can rejoin the enforcers so I can get accomplishment 47.... darn glitches.
To attack a city. Hire someone for 33gold or lower. Pick up a hitchhiker. Fire the first guy. The second guy will work for 33 instead of his current amount. Also works if you find a very strong and expensive guy in the tavern. Load up your boat with 3 dudes, gear them in a cheap mace and chainmail. With this, you can take on weak towns. For stronger stuff, you'll need to get the best armor and weapons for all your men.
The fastest way to get a ship: 1) Never surrender/flee. If you die, you get to try your luck at running through the path against a weaker pirate party than the one that killed you. 2) Never buy any wagons. A diamond in tasselfoot is like 9k. 10 cloth is nothing. 3) 2nd best gear. No need to hit the poor house for the best weapon. The second best is incredibly cheap. 4) rob the poor. Who needs reputation at the start? You can get it back AFTER you get a boat.
There is a 6th way to heal, it's very tricky and more of a glitch. Die while escaping. You escape, but your health gets fully refilled because of dying. It's very tricky trying to time when the monster will hit. If you go too early, it's too late to try again as it's attack timer will be filled and yours will be reset.
You guys... just let the pirates kill you. You start back in the previous town with all your money intact, plus any gains before dying like hitchhikers, and salvaged loot. Just repeat the path until you live through it without surrendering.
How weird, there's a glitch that if you hit Go before it docks into the corner, you are forced to skip the next action. I skipped many battles, but then I skipped entering a town. Then when I entered a battle in this endless state, the battle button and the surrender button are merged... Time to reset.
