There is absolutely no reason for this game to have auto-pause. It makes it pretty hard to wait for a payday when you have to stare at an un-moving screen.
@BerzerkStudio FYI, not sure if it was intended, but the survival mode does not start you over from the 1st wave in hard mode, though it does scale the enemies damage and health, so a person can get to a very high wave in normal mode and then get creamed in hard mode on the same wave.
Brutal, I lost 225,000+ troops to destroy the 50,000 that were in the on the island next to me. The others are across the ocean and have much larger oceans. Gonna have to make sure to have about 5x whatever they have to win.
YES! I beat the Ultimate Fight! Now just to acquire 50,000 gold and 4,000 distance in the survival. Best I've managed is 16,456 and 3,776, got a long way to go.
Every now and then a flash game comes along that is both simple and frustratingly complex at the same time. This is one of those games. 5/5 Favourite! Great game.
Excellent game! However, it is frustrating to place skill points into units you don't intend to use only to start a level with a bunch of those particular units. I would much rather have the option to purchase my own units at the beginning of each level.
What a ridiculous game. "I've got a great sales pitch for you. These barrels won't explode when you drop them, they won't even explode when they bump into each other, but one slight touch by a human hand and BOOM!"
Finished the game. As most are saying, the "lag" or memory leak is an issue that needs to be resolved. Other than that I thought it was a pretty fun game.
Looks like there is a bit of a problem with the Bowzer boss. At one point, I killed him and it ended my run, at another, I killed him and they ran onto the next screen, but the leader was running really slowly and the next kitten passed the leader. I couldn't jump though and the run inexplicably ended shortly thereafter.
Just a suggestion, but it may be easier to incorporate a simple hotkey for each store purchase which would reduce clicking of the mouse. Instead of making a "Buy 5, etc." button you could have "1" be the hotkey for the lemonade stand, "2" for newspaper, etc. Then when people want to buy many, they simply hold the "1" key down until they have as many as they want.
Wow, this game is highly underrated. Great work! Don't have any negative feedback or constructive criticisms, there's just nothing wrong with this game.
Nice, left the game running overnight and came back to a very powerful warrior. However, forgot that there was no autosave since that's how all games are done these days. Closed the window and came back later to find that there was no save game. Damn.
Well, in some cases the start setup is story-based.
