I finally beat the Voidbringer after many tries and a lot of potions, but nothing happened. He just disappeared, so I left the room and the guy outside was saying the same things and that was that. I went back in where the Voidbringer was and there he was again! Every time I fight the guy now, the game gets so laggy by the end that there is barely any action, just frames flashing in and out. Also, my team mates seem to become retarded when we fight him. They will kill a Void and then just stand there until another one comes up. It shouldn't have been this hard to beat the guy, but the lag and the bugs are really killing this game for me.
game is unstable, full of bugs, requires LOTS of grinding (6 replays of each level just to get the in-game badges) and uses the same money system for everything. I think everyone else has said the same things, not that it will make any difference. As soon as "pay-to-win" became a thing, NinjaKiwi didn't just hop on, they commandeered that band-wagon.
Loaded first time, but wouldn't save, giving me a message across the screen that wouldn't go away. I didn't really care about saving as I was just going to play it through, but because of that I couldn't get started. Then I tried re-loading so I could change my flash settings since it was giving me that option after the game had loaded, but then it just went to a black screen instead of going to the game after it had finally loaded.
tl;dr Just jokes, this game is very insightful, I learned a lot and appreciated every moment. I think I might even go out and get a philosophy book from one of those described in the game itself.
Wow, I haven't been left with such a strong feeling after playing a game for a while. It's like that tingling when you hear a song that evokes a strong emotion deep inside, or when you read a book that changes your outlook. GREAT work on this amazing game, and thank you for making it.
Level 6, what a frustrating level. I got there without having died once, and then I had to re-try the level a few times because I kept dying. The first time I did the level I collected the third key and was given the countdown without knowing where the lift was, so I wandered until the time ran out because there was no marker and no map to check. The biggest annoyance, though, was when I was walking around and I stepped onto a spot that opened up for the small aliens to swarm out of and I got stuck on that spot and couldn't get out of it. Sometimes there wasn't even anything indicating that they were coming out of the floor or what, so I was simply stuck on what appeared to be perfectly flat ground. Whenever this happened I had to let an alien kill me so I could move again.
This is a great game, I really like it, but the "levelling" if you can call it that (gaining stat points at a dead end) frustrates me to no end. You have a chance of getting 2 to 6 dead ends in each 3x3 grid. This means you could have a very lucky run and have +30 damage by the first boss, or you could have a very unlucky run and have +30 damage after the third boss. I find this a bit ridiculous since you seem to have to face up against foes of the same strength regardless of how powerful you have become.
Oh man, all I had to do was beat the boss and get the badge and my computer crashed and dumped the memory just as I started the battle. I even took the time to purchase all of the extra items with diamonds, now I'm not sure if I'll pick it up again.
@willthechill I am having the same problem, it shows that my achievements are completed, but doesn't count them as being done, and there is no apparent way to re-do them.
Soooo, agility gives you more magic points, and instead of finding keys, you just use dynamite. Does anyone know if you can actually find the dragon and "fish-creature"?
My GOD!! I'm on level 50 at 73%, so close. Can't wait to stop playing, too bad it's so compulsory for me to play games as they come out. Problem with this one in particular is, you level up quickly at the beginning and it is a fairly fun game, so when badges came out and I was on level 40 something, I thought I may as well finish, even though the game became very tiresome. Then it becomes a major chore when it takes upwards of 10 full energy bars to level and I just don't want to do it anymore, but I'm so close. Funny thing is, I've been feeling like I was "so close" for about 2 weeks now. But now I'm "SO CLOSE" maybe one or two more full energy bars for this last level, then boss time and I'm done.
Good point
