I too am getting the "
Oct. 24, 2017
IndexSizeError Index or size is negative or greater than the allowed amount" error when pressing x or right-clicking to pull up the save menu. I really want to play this game, but the bugs make that impossible. Please fix it!
The blacksmith needs to get over it and go home, so you can make time with that sweet redhead! It's like dude, really, no offense, your daughter's cured get OUT. LOL
I don't want to sound negative, as I really like your games. But really, quicktime events? Like eight different kinds of them? I've tried twice to get through this game, because I like the concept and so far I like the characters, but the quicktime events for every single attack are ANNOYING. People don't play RPGs for quicktime events. In fact, they're one of the most hated mechanics in the entire genre if not all of gaming. You haven't just included them here, you've overloaded us with them.
If you revisit this, please consider giving us an option for regular RPG strategic controls, like you did later in Medieval Cop where you gave us the opportunity to opt out of timed responses in debates.
Do this, and you'll have a winner on your hands.
Those whining about "too much text" or "it's just an interactive story, not a game" need to just not play this series or anything else labeled "POINT AND CLICK". That tells you right there what kind of game this is, and hell we're at part EIGHT now. You should know by now what this is.
If you're not interested in a storytelling game, don't play one. If you're not invested in the story and the characters and eager to play each new segment to see where it's going and what happens, that's your loss. But stop complaining about it not being something it was never meant to be (an action game) and click on the shooter section or something more to your liking.
This is really good stuff! Captures the classic feel of anime plus fantasy tropes that was so charming in old school JRPGs, especially the mix of pixel art and SD avatars with high quality anime portraits. It's the kind of charming, almost literary formula that major studios like Square have forgotten how to make. Plus the detective formula instead of combat is really creative! Very very cool.
What the hell are they keeping in those barrels for them to explode that way? Even dynamite isn't that unstable, did some middle age alchemists accidentally invent nitroglycerin somehow and store it all over the place?
The difficulty curve is just weird in this one. You go from easily wiping out everything with the initial weapon to suddenly not having enough firepower to handle nearly any mission at all, and thus unable to earn enough money to get better weapons upgraded. Plus, do we really need a cash penalty for using the better weapons when they're pretty much required once the super mutants and such start showing up?
Lol, yeah, I wanted her to be stunning. Glad you think I was able to :D
