Yo, developer! Instead of having us click randomly and ask ourselves "WTF is the point of this?", how about actually pointing out that it's a clone of Bejewelled so we know what we're supposed to be doing?
Forgot something... Having 3 identical tiles (the top right, and the 2 leftmost tiles in the bottom row) is really poor form. If you're going to do this, at least make the order that those particular tiles are in irrelevant.
clare616 - "They're not Christmas pictures..." Well, duh! Look at the name of the game! To the creators, I have a few suggestions. As per BeeBQ's comment, these games are WAY too short. Maybe make the games with 10+ levels instead of only 3? In some of your games you have a really peaceful song which is interrupted every so often by something that sounds like an elevator door chime. Get rid of that chime, please. It's very distracting and breaks my concentration whenever it comes up. Of course, the queen mother of ALL concentration breakers is the random pause whenever the game feels like it. Please, please, PLEASE get rid of that auto-pause, whatever it takes! Finally, once a puzzle's done, it would be nice to have the game remove the lines and give at least a few seconds to appreciate the artwork before scrolling in the score and going on to the next level.
To use the meteor shower, you need to start it somewhere in space, not when you start from, Then aim it where you want to go. It'll open a portal which launches the meteors for you.
I've played plenty of laggy games in my time, but this is the first ridiculously laggy game where I still had plenty of computer power to spare. On the Sliding puzzle, I’d pound away at a key for over 5 seconds before I'd get a response, then suddenly 3 tiles would slide back to back, forcing me to backtrack, wasting more time. On the Diffotron, there were times I’d pound at the space bar for more than 15 SECONDS before it would register, sometimes not even then until I selected another difference and then went back to the one that I tried and failed on before! Given that there's only 120 seconds to complete all 4 levels, this is unacceptable. Sometimes when I would click on a blindingly obvious difference, it would say that I was wrong and take away one of the lives! What gives, Armor Games? You used to be so awesome. With this one, however, you've hit a new low. As much as it pains me to do so, I'm giving this one a 1/5. Fix the lag and control issues and it’ll probably go up to a 5.
Completely unplayable. As I understand it when you start, you shoot about once every 3 seconds, the blurry yellow things up top take 2 shots to destroy and the blurry Jason masks down below take 1. Could you please explain to me how the freaking heck I'm supposed to survive a situation like http://www.shawalphabetbooks.com/Kongregate/KongregateTheXBowScreenshot1b.PNG as soon as the game starts? PLEASE, dude, scale back on the random number generator!
OMFG! If you thought the Chicken Molester badge was sick and twisted, just wait until you get to the Beholder! I won't say what happens, but it almost had me crying from laughing so hard! The expression on the Beyonder's face during that certain attack (you'll know the one when you see it... trust me) just makes it all the more hilarious. Kupo, my friend, you've got one seriously sick and disturbed mind, and by that I mean Gary Larson and John Callahan level disturbed. The game was definitely worthy of a 5/5 before, but I'll have to ramp it up to at least 150/5 just for that. :-)
Finally, Beijing is completely broken. All I get is a dark area, possibly at sunrise, while a fish jumps in the water right in front of you. There is NO red play button to click on here, nor does there appear to be a way to skip past the level. Yes, I did try reloading the game. It didn't help. When I right clicked on it, both Play AND Loop were checked. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. 1/5 since Beijing is unplayable right now, and that's only because I can't vote it 0 or less. If Beijing is fixed, then 2/5 because of the broken hint system. If they're both fixed, well... we'll see.
Aside from the hint system showing you things you've already picked up, if you get far enough in the level that you actually need the hint, it just laughs in your face. If you keep clicking on it, not only does it keep laughing at you, but it eventually starts to rain just because you tried to get a hint. Sometimes when it shows you something that you've already got, it drops you immediately from 3 hints left down to 1. The traffic in the London level is EXTREMELY distracting, plus it blocks your ability to click on things that are behind it. Even if you click on the exact pixel that you need for a treasure, it just laughs at you until you click on it after the traffic has already passed, which is a complete waste of the player's time (given that you only have about 1 minute to begin with doesn't help matters either).
That doesn't work for everyone, Stephen. I think I found a workaround, though... Once you get the Easy badge, start the game over and never go back to your original save again. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY RAGE! That's probably what's messing up the lag. Even if you have it "turned off", it still does the rage effect when they hit your building for long enough. If you never had it to begin with, it's not an issue. Also, don't even bother upgrading your pea shooter. Instead, save up all of your money for the Mac-10 and upgrade that to the max. Then you'll be able to pick off almost everything before they get too far on to the screen, at least up until the Super Bunny stage. I haven't played anything after that yet, and I'm not sure if I will given how painful the lag was last night.
Hey dude (dudette?), not everyone can afford to get a new system every 2 weeks just because some company came up with a minor tweak to the processor, and quite frankly I don't see any reason to do so just for a stupid flash game. This system still runs circles around everything that I actually need to do with it, so you can take your pompous attitude and shove it.
These people seriously need to learn to code efficiently. I set everything to low quality, turned off ALL of the effects, and STILL I'm getting mouse movement that's measurable in seconds/frame. Seriously, get a freaking clue, programmers! -5billion/5. Also, shame on Kongregate for making the MEDIUM badge the badge of the day for tomorrow when it's completely unplayable due to mouse lag by the time I get halfway there.
How I FINALLY got Impossible: Start your virus in Greenland. Any other country, reset. Then get Cold 2, Drug 1/2, then Moisture 1/Heat 1 when you can afford them. When you start infecting others, sell your symptoms. When you infect everyone, make sure to add sneezing FIRST. Only AFTER the last country is at 100+ people infected should you start adding lethalities. Then get coughing, vomiting, Fatigue, Diarrhea, Pulmonary Edema, Dementia, Hypersensitivity, Ataxia and Depression. You should be able to get these all at once with all the evolution points you've saved up so far. If not, fill them in as you can afford them. When you can afford to do so, add Nausea, fever and sweating. Then watch gleefully as the time to work on the vaccine stretches from about 21 days to infinity and the human population starts dropping like flies. Time to wipe out humanity: 92.5 days. Disease name: Madagascar Assassin. The name probably has no relevance to the overall odds, but it sure felt good. :-)
Game breaking bug (at least for me): If you get the exact score needed to level up, it doesn't. See the screenshot at http://www.shawalphabetbooks.com/kongregate/KongregateBubbleBreakerGameScoreBug2.PNG for proof. Please fix this.
