The knight is the only class that means a damn and push is the only stat. Rogue is completely overwhelmed after 2 upgrades and is therefore completely useless. Game blacks out every 3 seconds on average on Firefox with Windows 8.1 and froze under Opera when I attacked the middle row with rogue losing 3 times and then won with the knight. And I thought Super Mario Frustration was bad... 1/5.
Why does the screen keep going black every few seconds, and why does it suddenly come back only AFTER I scroll the window off the screen and then scroll back?
It's nice to see fractals using other dimensions than the standard squared variety (eg. standard Mandelbrot/Julia sets etc). It would be nice if the images could be scaled somehow and if you could pick a point to zoom in on like in other fractal programs. I'd like to see an offline version of this with more options.
This has nothing to do with puzzle solving and everything to do with randomness. Forcing the player to start over again just for losing once simply adds further insult. 1/5.
Stupid amount of lag makes it pretty much impossible to get a predictable launch. This is coming with someone with a 3.3GHz EIGHT core system and 12 GIGS of RAM!
OK, I found out why it's happening. For some reason, when some unknown condition is met, the game zooms in ridiculously far and the white screen is part of a cloud. There was one level it happened on where I could get the background to change to various shades of blue (like the sky) and I could see part of a gigantic knight jumping. Other than this VERY annoying bug, it's quite an enjoyable game.
Why does the screen randomly go white? The game itself is still playing, sound effects, you can move, but you can't see anything. Firefox 51.0.1 64 bit, Windows 8.1.
Is it even possible to make the jump on the credits level, and what's with all the lag? Surely something this simple should be able to run just fine on a 3.3GHz EIGHT CORE system!
Worse than the Tim Tang test. Are people really supposed to be able to figure these things out on their own? Complete no cowdung walkthrough available at https://jayisgames.com/review/impasse.php. No frills, it just tells you what moves to make in plain text.
OK... I'm not sure why, but only the up and down arrow keys work on the survival mode in this game in Firefox under Windows 8.1, but it works just fine in Opera. Not the best solution, but at least it scored me the badge of the day with 4467 points (4th attempt).
