I had to export my save since I can't connect to the server apparently, and now every time I try to restart and get gems, it loads the save I exported and doesn't actually restart. Any idea what's going on?
Hi Krine, this indicates that the game was not able to connect to Kongregate. Which is unusual. You might try signing in and out while the game is running to see if this helps, otherwise, send me a private message and I can help you in more detail.
Culture for including systems seems to be calculated weirdly, or just not telling all the facts. In the system list, my culture before the first system is 428B su, the system is 0.1 su, and my next listed culture is 175B su. What's it actually doing?
May I suggest swapping out pickaxes for, say, mining operations or drilling stations? Having to hold down the mouse and focus on mining seems antithetical to the goal of an incremental idle game, but the mechanic of having mining that rewards the player for depth (which I'm assuming is how this works) is quite sound. If I wanted to get very specific, I'd say to make current durability into duration and mining speed for items per second, which would also balance the disparity in pricing for picks versus return of rewards. I'm fond of this game and would like to see it expand, so keep up the good work, and feel free to take my ideas and put them in the garbage if you so desire.
It seems that if you queue up multiple upgrades and then use speed-ups on a structure, it only does one upgrade but goes up the amount of levels you set it. At least, this happens for storage.
In my mind, I'm just replacing all the words with candies and snacks. Popcorn is the cheapest industry to get into, for instance, and I can hug 48 puppies before I need to take a breather.
After a while, automine becomes more powerful than anything that active mining can hope to accomplish. Even if you're doing 50 times as much as what's listed, automine can do hundreds of times what's listed. Not sure if intended; if not, maybe tweak Active Damage and/or Combo Boost's upgrade effects?
The recent update rebalanced automine and damage values so that you should be able to do at least a noticeable amount of damage via manual clicks, though it may need a bit more tweaking.
Feel free to tell me I'm a jerk, but I kind of wish that the upgrades were action power and automation was based off a percentage of that. It feels like trying to get both auto and click stuff is a waste, as it is.
I'm going to ruin things for everyone and say that the money printer's math is wrong; I'm thinking rather than multiplying by 1.25 for each slot, it's adding 1.25 to the multiplier. As a result, 4 of them installed gets you 5 times the money.
Needs a continue option that lets you keep your stuff and respawn at the last save point. That and one of the first quests being "kill 10 things" has left a bad impression, though.
i'll be adding random events which will make stats more distinctive. Have some socialist/communist events in mind :)
