i love this very basic design, i think games these days try too hard/over complicate their games, nothing wrong with that existing but simple games like this are important too
i think there may be a bug with the box on the bottom floor right room, you need to pour water on it from the 2nd floor but it seems like i got the code JL = 7~ stuck in front of what i was supposed to obtain from inside the box, unless the code was the prize from the box? cause i managed to take the code from behind the box before it was soaked with water
thought the game was a 4/5 or 4.5/5 but i gave you 5 stars because i love this idea/concept and i hope you take feedback from this game and the first game and make more
i liked being able to deconstruct a puzzle in the first game, auto snap when the blocks are in the right place takes away from some of the fun of tinkering with the shape, but still awesome to see a sequel
i want moooooooooore
it did make me think of sokoku for a bit
i knew 1 rule going in "if there are 3 squares in a straight line with the same color, the 2 squares that are not the middle square are opposites"
[x][1][x]
[2][3][4]
[x][5][x]
[x][6][x]
(1 and 5) and (2 and 4) are opposites because they have 3 between them
and i think i found/made a new rule later "if the dice block makes a tetris s shape with 2 squares ontop of or beside eachother but not forming a square, the 2 squares that are not side by side are opposites
[x][1][x]
[x][2][3]
[4][5][x]
[6][x][x]
(3 and 4) and (2 and 6) are opposites
best game design i've seen in a long time, very simple yet challenging, and the balance seems very fair, all of the deaths feel like they are your fault and not the game screwing you
i think it would be better if you set temporary caps like arcanium being the final stone until next update, or put hellstones on a different stone path thats sepperated from the main stone progression, because having infinite hellstones on the end is going to make future updates weird
just got the last badge, worlds 5-3, 5-4, and 5-5 are all great for grinding blops but oyu dont really need to grind for more blops afte getting the 30k lazer and 8k doom whips you and 12/12 focus beams can beat the game
for those out there who still want to get the hard badge like i do heres some tips
start working on lazer technology immediately, then when you have the 5k~ priced lazer middle and arms you should be able to get to world 4-1, then you should farm level 4-1 with all its dna strands and keep working on lazer tech, and start buying focused beams research in the research tab to make lazers hit glass, it will seem like a waste but its neccisary to max this to 12/12, you will need to farm 4-1 probably 100+ times, but you can do like 5-10 runs at a time and take a break come back later or the next day and grind a little more
the next goal is the 30k mid lazer(best non special weapon lazer) and the doom whip for each hand(around 8k hand whips) and after you have those and 12/12 focused beam tech you can start progressing more into the game with all the glass baloon levels, where you want to get to world 5-3 which is where im currently at (with 1700+ blops per run my first try)
just beat the first boss..... and id just like to say there hasnt been a kong game yet where archers was an option, that spamming archers wasn't the solution
archers are just pure win
I really really dislike games that ask you to use WASD and don't give you an option to switch to the arrow keys, I almost never use WASD and its making my gameplay very awkward and difficult to handle
me 2 :)
