I find it somewhat sad that Kong feels a need to give these games badges. Don't get me wrong, these games are great, but drawing attention to them implies that there's a shortage of new games that are actually any good. :P
This is a pretty good game. Probably want to set it so no phrases that start with the same letter will appear though. Much more player-friendly than using the arrow keys to switch.
Assuming the red ball in the center is what you're supposed to protect, you need to specify that. If it isn't then collision checking is off and coins shouldn't spawn in the middle of the obstacles. Otherwise this is a pretty good game.
For the thing about getting gold based on kills, I think that's a good idea, but I don't think gold gain should count as your score. You should have a separate points system. Set it so you get time bonuses, and also lose points when you lose a level. That way if you lose too much your score will be dirt low, and those who can beat the game quickly without losing will have really high scores.
BWAHAHAHA! First to get all the artifacts!
Anyway, good game, needs some polishing though. I have no idea what the ice floor item's supposed to do, the gun isn't used nearly enough. When I first loaded the game I started trapped in the wall of the second room, and the wall jumping looks a little glitchy when you just hold yourself against a wall and hold up. Some improved graphics would be nice too. Overall though it's a pretty good little game, so 4/5. Might get a 5/5 when you fix those problems. (:
Seriously though people, for those of you with archer-heavy builds that don't work so well anymore, just switch to mages. They still get benefits from the Marksman upgrade.
I'd like to point out that I'm pretty sure the 'walls' are meant to kill you. :P
Oh, btw, I give this a 3/5. It's good, but it's only a demo, and I don't like giving out good scores to demos. :P I can't wait to see the finished version though.
Still needs a pause button. And honestly, for the archers, it would probably work better if you just made it so armour had an increased effect on their damage. (Though never make it so they can't do any damage)
Change the control switch from clicking the mouse to pressing a key. Spacebar would probably work. Either that or allow WASD controls. Arrow keys + mouse is an awkward combo.
Uh... Munkeegutz? Those aren't glitches. The enemies are SUPPOSED to stop attacking when you get too close, and you're supposed to jump higher when you do that.
Very nice twist on what would normally be a boring and overdone idea. Having to weigh down the bubbles to keep them from getting to the top was a great idea! 5/5
I seem to have found some glitches. It looks like when you change weapons while passing through a door it REALLY messes up your saved file. I'd be holding a weapon, but the weapon would keep changing what it looks like... And I had infinite of them to throw at people...
Also I beat Hades with a pipe. I got him to walk into a corner and stayed close and he didn't try to move away or attack me. Might want to look into that.
Controls need to be tweaked a bit. I shouldn't need to push the left/right buttons repeatedly to get the piece to the other side of the screen. And please, for the love of everything good in world, PLEASE don't make the down button automatically put the piece at the bottom. Also you don't get to 'suggest' badge ideas, if the game is good it'll get badges, otherwise it won't. 3/5 until those controls are fixed.
