Also, about the no moves thing, sometimes it's annoying, but it's also a consequence of having too many unit types. I think it's a gameplay feature and it's fine. That's why it's worth upping your peasants / basic knights some, because in some levels you are better off with peasants than 2-3 higher-potential units (like sergeants and armored knights or stuff like that). Sure, they're jsut useless fodder in the battle, but they'll get your board comboing like crazy at times and it can be invaluable.
As far as I understand it, there are two ways to get more points on the orange circular gauge that gives stars: 1) kill stuff 2) do combos. Bigger combos give more points (and I'm not sure, but I think combos involving rarer units are more rewarding too).
MMO, PVP, too many weird buyable items... That's what you get when you try to replace actual gameplay with flashy junk. And that's why I am never going to play this...
I'm not sure I've ever played a game I didn't understand less. It's badly written, it's chaotic, unclear and badly explained, the writing is horrendous and it tries to trick you into spending money right off the bat. Plus there's an energy system to limit how much you can play at once. This sucks biiiig time.
There's surely a bug on my end because the image never changes, even if I walk to the tree or whatever, it still shows the first plain scene with the tree in the distance...
Yeah, you are better off concentrating on a single viking type in this. It allows you to max it early and max specials. Also, its special is gonna be much more powerful. I personnally recommend the beer guys. They may not look like much stat-wise on paper, but with a bunch of 'em their special grant a 400+% bonus to attack. It's insane.
Is it normal that I seem to have missing people in my party? People who talk to me in between scenarios but never joined me? Like the Barghest, the rogue and the dancer? I understand they are supposed to be rarer from a gameplay perspective, but having them talk to me but not existing in my party seems weird...
I wish there were keyboard controls for every camera movement, not just zoom (the most easy and pointless one of them all). I keep selecting characters and then having trouble moving he camera around to see targets and stuff. It really impairs my enjoyment of the game...
I have only two minor quibbles with this: 1) When typing the number of whatever I want to create, please make this the number AFTER the twin larva multiplier. Often, I want to know the cost of producing 1B creature, not 1B x 256. Finding the right amount to type to have approximately 1B is a pain. 2) I'd vastly prefer if the numbers used the scientific notation instead of the capital letters at the end of a number for big amounts. Like 1M = 1 x 10^6.
I'm really puzzled at how (for example) 64 x2^120 x 4% can be lower than a flat x4. Seriously, shouldn't 64 x2^120 x 4% at least be worth a x10 or a x20 or something (haven't done the exact math yet, sorry)?
