I really like the idea, but the execution is severely flawed... the extreme imbalance wouldn't be a problem if skill could make up for playing as a bad character... but it can't. I understand the joke characters not playing out well, but the rest... not so much.
Those of you wanting an Intrusion 2 can rejoice, because he's working on it. If you don't mind spoilers, he's got a few videos up on YouTube featuring some of the awesome new stuff in it, here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/user/vapgames
I like the idea, but the thing is that what made Fallout great was the exploration, so you've got a hurdle to overcome if you want to make this series as fun as its muse. That being said, if you can make the action interesting enough to make it just as fun, I'll be highly impressed.
So... the question still remains... what would happen to them if they, err, got funky? Would they kill each other, or would it just be really really kinky?
Umm... so if a bunch of people run away from the house, then it's totally haunted, everyone will believe them, and nobody should ever go in again 'cuz it's seriously dangerous... but if a bunch of people die in the house, well hey, that house is A-OK!
The last badge's description is true. A few of the shapes are really tricky, but if you decide to just look at a comment, it'll be way too hard for you to get the last badge. I did it the fair way, and as a result, I was able to get the second hard badge. It's really not that hard if you do the first hard badge without cheating.
The only downside is that when looking back at some diseases, it won't tell you the information like "rarely seen in children" "more common in males than females" and such, and sometimes that's necessary to tell the difference between two diseases, so it'd be nice to fix that.
I always lol at how the perpetual pinwheel thing stops spinning, since the name implies it never stops. And for those of you whining about the tele-jump, seriously, it's easy. Jump then hit space right away, or just hit the f key.
Hey Greg, I realize you put a lot of work into this, but there's one typo I just saw. When you agree to go to Africa with Angela, there's a line that says "He had Future Todd shook hands."
If you add in a sell button, be sure that it takes a good amount of time (better yet, that it can't be done during a wave) because the ability to juggle would completely break this game. I like the sniper rifle idea though, that'd be sweet.
It's kinda like Patapon without rhythm, but what the heck, there's nothing wrong with that. It's a solid and well-made game for sure, so I'll give it a 4/5.
Also, a typo in a mod option: When you type "/help" it says "GDR: /silenceUser USERAME -Silences the named user." That's "useRAme" should be "userName"
This really is a perfect survival game. So many other games just take an action game, remove the ending, and call it a survival game but this really was clearly built from the ground up to embody the feeling that you're just holding off the inevitable. You're overwhelmed quickly and you have to let go of some of your stuff to survive just a few minutes longer. The music especially adds to the feeling, and the swarms of rockets are seriously intimidating. Everyone who wants to call their game a survival game seriously needs to play this first.
Cool, but too many of the quotes are misquotes, very few of these quotes actually have "rocket" in them... Although that was kind of obvious when you had one from Gallileo.
