Seems the level 3 bug still exists (dunno, just read the comments and I've encountered a bug). You need to kill the boss with your guns and not a dropped bomb, otherwise you can end up being stuck there since it never records you as having killed the boss.

No, their placement is random as is their movement. The _only_ thing consistent is when they fire, not where or at what. This becomes increasingly annoying during the third stage (side clappers and cannons), which not only greatly limits how much you can move but forces you to watch the placement of the three cannons moreso than necessary. It's just plain not fun.
It's hard, but annoyingly so. The area to move within is just way too freaking small. And doesn't much have to do with rhythm since the placement of the cannons are random. Would be neat if it was schmupy styled memorization, but it's all just about moving around the random placement of the canons.
kind of a neat game. Expected it to get much harder. Think the hardest one was around 11 or so. Good spare time fluff game. Would be great to see a randomized level element for replayability.
Definitely a challenging game, but I just don't have the time (or want) it would take to work through all the levels multiple times just to get the hard badge.
Just a correction to what Pahvimato said about the shop scrolls. You start with one. The only way to otherwise get them is to loot them from chests, maximum of one each level, some levels may not have one (those levels suck a lot).
Gah. Is there a way to restart a level? Some levels you make a mistake and you're stuck and the only way I can find to get back is to go through all of the puzzles again from the start.
Personally, I think the AI has too good of aim. Leads me to using lame weapons all the time to win, which isn't fun. Wish it was viable to use some of the less 'explosive' weapons to overcome the precise targetting of the AI.
I have to say, and it surprises me, but I really really hate this game.
Upgrades only affecting new ships? Bad. Short, timed missions in an RTS? Worse. Annoying repair bots that after each suicide wave auto-repairs the nearest damaged ship even though you set it to idle just a second ago? Freaking annoying.
There are a good number of other general flaws as well, from general controls to the necessity of fog of war on such small maps that using scout drones are pretty pointless.
2/5 and not sure who thought it would be fun to make this the weekly card challenge.
Neat idea. I know the game is slow, but the transitions and menus could be faster. Also, restart doesn't work for me, I click it and it just fades to black and stays that way. Would also be great if we could reliably tell which of our cells the green is moving towards.
