i systematically tried to figure out the mechanics, and i halfway got behind the additional balls appearing on screen, but i cant figure out the lose condition.
Its not a ball limit (i had a pulsating mass of over 900 balls on screen), its not the ammount of missed shots (kept shooting offscreen for a while), is it an invisible timer? I consulted the "?"-Menu but it had no text and broken graphics.
But its actually fun to play around with no restrictions, like filling the screen with balls and then trying to clear them all before the CPU cant handle it anymore
how do i get past the "emergency warp distance limiter" ? do i really have to "wait forever" until it is fixed, or are there some hidden pixel i have to/must not touch?
an even easier way to kill the final boss is getting into melee range. You will graze so many bullets, thet you will gain lives instead of losing them.
The UI is way to big and gets in the way all the time. Do i really need to know how much gold rubies and energy i have when im busy kiting and clicking monsters?
The first suitcase level took me half an hour to complete, the best way to do it is to do nothing and wait for the whole enmy team to attack you, then you can go in and out without worrying about resistance. Also lvl 14. what the helll? alone vs 5 in plain view being attacked from all sides while the most you can take is 1-2 shots, also landing immobilizes you for 1-2 seconds even when you drop from the height of a jump. And how can you justify 20-ish level requirements, when having played only one class until then i had a level 14 assasin. The game basicaly renders everything i have done useles and tells me to go back and grind up a tank.
Out of all such linear point&click games this one was actually fun to play. Mostly because the actions are consistent, you dont need pixel perfect precision and its easy to determine what is background and what might be useful.
After all this time, it still sneaks up on even me :-)
