The whole pathway concept to get to the right towers you need is cumbersome, unfair, and woefully unbalanced. It absolutely ruins what would otherwise be an enjoyable game. 2/5
Nice bias, having the democrat creeps come in with 2.5 times more hit points than the republican creeps. If you're going to make a TD, try to keep it balanced, please. Would have been 5-star, but the political bias brings it down to 3/5.
Incredibly frustrating and more of a puzzle/skill game than strategy. Also, there needs to be a magnifying feature, whether that's an in-game zoom (more convenient than right-clicking) or just having a larger field of play. 1/5
The answer set is broken. Combine this with the substandard graphics and sound, and the fact that it's nothing more than arithmetic flash cards (pardon the pun), and you have a sure-fire loser. 1/5
I like the basic concept, but the lack of upgrades, the low cash reward per kill, and the lack of any alternate elements such as traps or troops combine to make this TD far weaker than it should be. Very disappointing. 1/5
While a sandbox mode would be nice, this is one great game even without it. I've played A LOT of TD's, but the depth and variety of the tech tree found here is absolutely inspired. The graphics are adequate, if not stunning, while the music is very nice and unobtrusive. HUZZAH for the return of creativity! 1.2 version, please! 5/5
Poor mechanics, buggy as anything I've seen, unclear costs for towers and their upgrades, and English that makes Ralphie Wiggins look like a Rhode's Scholar. This is a disgrace not only to TD's, but to game design everywhere. 1/5
Might I suggest some English lessons? That would go a long way to making this a high-level gaming experience. On the whole I like the re-creation of StarCraft sprites as well as the simplified tech trees. The game DOES bog down when there's too much motion; please add a graphics quality adjustment feature to help correct this. 4/5
Overall, a pretty good concept. The story style especially intrigued me. Kudos for actually taking the time to proof-read your text, it's a refreshing change in a field that seems to be plagued ever more with borderline illiteracy. The action does need tweaking, though. The fact that the character doesn't shoot until you let go of the space bar is particularly odd. Fix this, maybe add a couple more weapons and moves, and you'd have a really good game. As is, 3/5.
Whimsical, but impossible. The fact that you can't move the boat as anywhere near as fast as the flying guys, combined with the too-small screen make for a frustrating experience. Until at least ONE of the these problems is fixed, 2/5.
