The original hint system was better. However, as an improvement, how about letting us see maybe 3 elements at a time we have yet to create, then by pressing hint we see how to create one of those elements?
What's wrong with this? It's similar to another game. THAT hasn't ever been done before in the gaming industry, right? Sheesh. The level design is great, and features are added, such as the strings. Plus a level editor. This is a strong 4/5 from me.
This seems like a generic thing to say, but upgrades? Gamers love upgrades! Firing speed, movement speed... perhaps the ability for different powerups to appear after you purchase them?
At the end i expected him to say "With johnny's murderer uncovered, it was time to get a pizza. The real mystery is - pepperoni, or ham and pineapple?"
You say "colourblind friendly", but why does it need to be unless it's a puzzle game... I mean, if there were different colours for bullets, a normal-sighted person would be able to distinguish the difference, but the colourblind person would see the same as what the game is now. It seems to me you've just been lazy and tried to con others into thinking that's a benefit.
Ok, so now the missions are costing 25 energy a pop. Which means i have to come to this game, play 4 rounds and then leave for 100 minutes. This is ridiculous. I was enjoying this game, but attempting to lengthen content just by making users wait longer isn't fair. I'm out.
Quick hint - towards higher levels (15+) it's better to put points into luck rather than damage. Also get equipment with critical hit bonuses. I'm level 17 and i have 26% chance of critical hit, with an enchanted weapon this does lots of damage. Also for those of you grinding, its best to grind against the highest level hornet you can. They have less health per exp gain and they're much easier to attack without getting hit yourself.
Hard mode.. 106 guessed correctly, 26.5 combo! I was enjoying it until i got a screen with tiles... and the option was either protector III or protector IV... i guessed incorrectly... >.<
