Unique and interesting, if a little confusing. I won't pretend I understood it all, but it's worth completing. The controls are as hard to discern as the story on some of the levels.
Really good game, but pretty difficult. I picked a knight and spent my points mostly on STR with a couple in AGI, and had trouble with level 1 until I got the level 3 turret equipped and figured out you had to magic the boss to death. Now I'm stuck at level 3, where the enemies are doing 15 damage to my 75 life, and there are some that I can't destroy in time (I'm specialized in STR, have max turret with extra damage special, focus firing on one the whole time, how do you kill them?!) The boss fights are a bit ridiculous - 40 damage on a hit? That means I might be able to survive ONE hit (again, specializing in health). All this means I have to grind to become powerful enough to beat the levels; also I don't see anywhere that tells me how much XP I need for next level. Money becomes sort of useless after you get your 3 charms, then it's just saving til you can get the uber expensive ones. I also don't like the yellow on white text, its horrible to read.
A good remake of Pong, but it has a big problem. It's pong. I find it to be very boring, the first time I tried it I was getting really impatient for the level to be over. No chance I would ever play this for entertainment
All right as far as toss games go. It's fun to beat up on the turtle and there are lots of upgrades and achievements. The hard badge is giving me trouble because it seems you can be killed at random at any moment by a spike trap, especially annoying when you're at 2,900,000 feet! I just bought 150 nuclear bombs, I'm going to try chain spamming them and see if that works.
Sort of interesting, a whole game that's just a boss battle. The same thing keeps happening to me though; I'll get it down to almost no health and then it starts spamming that pearl beam at me... I can't seem to injure it anymore and it blows through all my lives in a few seconds because you can't avoid the beams. I'm probably missing something, but boy is it annoying. Too bad it's so short though, it's a great concept.
Great game, mechanics are solid, visuals are interesting and there's a lot of extra stuff to get if you want it. I would rather be able to buy the extra stuff than for it not be there at all, however I think people are reacting negatively to the store because they're worried this will become the new trend in flash games, where significant portions of the game are locked behind pay walls. It's ok when the pay stuff is just a small portion of the game, but here we have >50% of the levels and features locked out, so I can see why this would make people nervous.
Seems like a typical AdultSwim production, in which the story or setting is meant to grab your attention but when you play the game you find out its shallow and boring. So, in this case we have CALIGULA! to grab your attention, plus excessive blood, with a mic gimmick thrown in for good measure. The game itself is 5 minutes deep, just move along...nothing to see here.
Good game, but it was way too easy, even for me ... and I don't like these games when they're too difficult. I liked the style and the story, though. Hopefully there will be another.
I wasn't wowed by the game and defeated the 8 campaign missions on the hardened level without any trouble. Haven't I played this before? Nicely put together, but pretty average.
First off, I really liked the simplicity and style of this game. Good idea, and pretty well executed. However, maybe it's just me, but this game seems awfully dependent on luck. (if you care about the badges) The windows require you to make a precision jump at the correct angle in the instant it appears on screen, and if you're going fast this seems next to impossible. The bombs are also almost impossible to dodge if you're going too fast. Yet, there are jumps that cannot be completed unless you have enough speed. This combo guarantees I'll be playing the game many, many, many times until I get a lucky jump(s) or board setup.
Really not that great, but it will be popular for 2 reasons: "It has Werewolves!" and... the excessive amounts of blood. (Developer knows his audience! Good for him.) For the controls, I don't like the spacebar precision puzzle jumping and I don't like how you slide like you are on ice when you stop pushing forward. The bloody maulings stop being cool after the third time or so and start to get annoying because it takes so long to finish the death sequence. I did like the stealth element, and the attempt at a story was also good. Overall an average game.
Lots of weapons, cool gore effects and decent graphics...and no point. Playing the game is extremely boring. Like many noticed you can use execution to get the badges, but that makes the game even more of a boring chore. A less boring way to get the badge is to choose the medium lab and go to the left, you can't be attacked.
A good game but it does have it's flaws. Moving the elevators can be annoying, yet if you follow a winning strategy you never have to move them. Part of the problem with the game is that you just win by filling up on level 1 turrets and then its straight to laser guns, so there's not much strategy and you don't move elevators or use most of the guns.
Good, polished game, simple but expandable and something you could waste plenty of time on. For this type of game you should be able to select what level you want, or at least have more than one to work on if you get stuck. I like the graphics, I get the minimalist concept but it's visually uninteresting. I'm tired of looking at the black background.
Great game though easy mode will be way too easy for most gamers. I like the evil aspect and the gameplay has some potential. It would be nice if there was something more to do, like levels where you destroy buildings and watch the people flee screaming, or boss monsters with special abilities or something. The story and writing are mediocre at best, unfortunately, and all the text is set in a horrible old english font that is hard to read. If a sequel is made, I'd strongly recommend finding someone who can write, it can't be that hard.
